This place is literally my child hood!!!!! I love me some mills hoagie and it's crazy after all these years, the same people are working there! They still only accept cash so make sure you grab that before you go!The food is always so flavorful and delicious! I had to add extra ketchup this time tho lol the meat was a little dry but I tore this up!!!!!

Best Hoagies In all of Oakland! But Beware if you're not from that part of town it could get Dangerous! I've seen it happen more than Once!

This is the real deal. Cheese steaks are as authentic as you can get in Oakland. Service is efficient. Ambiance is sparse.

BE AWARE FOOD POISONING I Order a hamburger hoagie and while eating the meat, I noticed the meat taste old so I tried a few more bites. The taste wouldn't go away, so I decided to let the manager know that the meat taste OLD AND TASTE WEIRD and he refunded me my money, but the problem was a day and a half later I woke up out of my sleep with bad stomach pains and diarrhea and cold sweats had to go to the emergency room realized I had food poisoning. I did let the manager know that I received food poisoning from their restaurant he acknowledge that he remembered me returning the food because I said the meat taste old, but he said he assumed I didn't like it who would like old meat" WITH NO CONCERN IN HIS VOICE" be aware when eating at Mills hoagie you might be just eating old meat and end up with food poisoning

We've been coming to this place for over 20 years. Although we don't come here often, it is always satisfying getting a grab to eat coming to this place. We always call our order in. It usually takes about 10 minutes for them to prepare it. Their Philly cheese steak is pretty good here. You outta try it.

Food is always amazing. The service is a great it just depends on how busy the restaurant is is cool. Mom and Pops set up old-school Pac-Man arcade in there. I've been going there for years so if you haven't tried it, I suggest that you go and try it they make the best cheesesteaks they also have chicken hoagies Mushrooms they have veggie options french fries drinks it's up to you, but you have to order and it's cash only no Apple Pay no pay no cash no PayPal it's cash only this place is legendary. It's been around for years. Amazing if you want real cheesesteak when you're in Oakland near Mills College.

This is simply the best Cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had. It's true what they say about the "hole in the wall" joints. Sometimes they have the best food. I come all the way from Sac to get this sandwich. You would not be disappointed

Food: amazing. Simple and yummy. Service: friendly family run business I've been patronizing for 20+ years. I'm there 2-3 times a month. Ambiance: small space to enjoy your yummy meal or take it to go and eat where you like.

Been going to Mill's my entire life! Great comfort food and service. Loved this place when I was a kid. Reasonably priced for what you get.
