Ahhh I love this place... Great rotating seasonal flavors! Right now my favorites are: Passionfruit- bright and tangy, I loooove this! It's hard to get a true passionfruit ice cream - try it! Oolong marmalade - I love tea flavored ice creams, this one is soft, creamy and the hint of marmalade is perfect. Pandan ginger- pandan anything is good imo Guava ginger beer sorbet- nice bright fruit, tangy, refreshing Signature flavors I love: Lychee rose - juicy lychee with a light rose flavor, I default to this anyday Qahwa- coffee ice cream, leans more Vietnamese coffee imo which is strong and creamy. Love!

My Oakland treat go-to rain or shine! When I'm able to get there before a longer line forms I like to try all the samples that speak to me. I try to catch all the new flavors before they get rotated out. Owners do a great job of keeping the choices delicious, creative and on seasonal theme. I'm finally learning to buy take home pints to try to hang on to my favorite seasonal flavors as long as I can yet it still isn't enough. Thank goodness I don't live in the apartments upstairs, I'd probably be a ball of Breakfast brownies by now.If you're visiting and want to savor your scoop(s) while you stroll, I suggest walking across the street to the Kaiser memorial park so that you can take in the impressive: Remember Them Memorial. (At the corner of 19th & Rashida Muhammad St) Think I'll share my favorite classic flavors under tips yet, if you've made it this far and have tried their London Fog (Earl grey) could you plz love my review so I can convince them to make it a permanent option...keeping my fingers crossed for Pandan Ginger too. Big Thank you to all of the Miharu team

(Worth the trip every time!)My family and I will often travel from the Peninsula to Oakland just for Miharu, and for good reason--it's always exceptional! The quality is consistently top-notch, and their rotating list of unique artisanal flavors never fails to impress. One flavor we especially love is Shrikhand. Not only is it absolutely delicious, but it's also the best vegan ice cream I've ever had--and I typically don't even like vegan desserts! The texture, flavor, and balance are just perfect. They use high-quality ingredients, and unlike other ice cream places, we never feel bad afterward. The ice cream is rich and satisfying without being heavy or artificial. Hands down, this is the best ice cream in the Bay Area. It's worth an hour's drive--if not more--to experience it.We've also completely spoiled our three-year-old daughter with Miharu's exquisite dark milk chocolate ice cream. After tasting their rich, handcrafted flavors, there's no going back--she may never be able to have normal ice cream again! In terms of ambiance, while savoring your treat, you can take in the beautiful sight of the Fox Theater, which adds to the experience. Miharu fits right in with the artistic feel of downtown Oakland, making every visit special.Miharu has truly become a favorite, and we'll keep coming back for more!

Wow! Did not expect this place to be open/so good. It's in the same spot where Little Giant was in one of the apartment developments near Uptown. Cute interior and equipment is out for the public to see. Service is nice- mostly kids but no one was rude when we were there as they were closing. They have a very wide selection of ice cream, from Shrikhand (Indian saffron yogurt flavor) to Middle Eastern coffee/cardamom. I ended up with the cookies and cream flavor, which was delicious! Definitely worth trying if you're in the area!

My new favorite ice cream spot! I was not feeling very slay after work, so I decided to stop by and get myself a treat. The store is cozy and the man working there gave me some great recommendations.I got a single scoop with two flavors: banana w/ dulce de leche and breakfast brownie. The crunchy cornflakes on the breakfast brownie were so good and reminded me of a perfectly baked cake when paired with the ice cream. The banana was also great, though I wish I tasted the dulce de leche a little more. There's so many unique flavors of ice cream here! I'm excited to come back and try some more. Maybe today....

With today's artisanal ice cream store options, I always feel slightly guilty for paying over $8 for a single scoop of ice cream (cough cough salt and straw). But Miharu had incredibly curated, thoughtful, and unique flavors for a reasonable price! A single scoop (which you could choose 2 flavors for) was only $5.50. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors!Food (5/5): We tried many flavors but the one I'd highly suggest is the Oksusucha! It's Korean roasted corn tea and sooo delicious. It wasn't too overpowering and you could eat a lot of it! Service (5/5): The owner and his partner come up with all the flavors and I could tell they have a big passion for their ice cream. I love supporting people like them!Ambiance (4/5): Some seating inside. Chill vibe and safe are of Oakland. There was street parking right outside the shop.

Cute little ice cream shop with great, interesting flavors to try! First timer and I got the London fog & lychee w/ raspberry rose. Both were pleasant but London fog over lychee w/ raspberry rose. The staff were helpful, friendly and patient. I wished that the pandan w/ ginger was with coconut instead of ginger. Whatever, I can't wait to be back!

incredible flavor selection here. like every other ice cream place, you can sample the entire menu, but I would advise against doing so because it's kind of rude, except when I do it.Here's the deal, when I do it, it's because I'm so impressed by the different flavors that they offer that, as a true gourmet, I can break every social norm out there in pursuit of a more refined taste. Even when I ask, "are you SURE it's okay for me to sample another one?" subtly implying that I'm so impressed by their selection that I'm willingly creating a slightly uncomfortable, bordering toxic atmosphere for the employees and other customers, it's actually totally normal, and encouraged. price is kind of steep, but i love the flavors.

Lovely! several flavors to choose from and really delicious ice creams. Parking is hard since it's a very busy street there is place to sit and eat inside as well. Quite a bit of crowd but very fast service so you wouldn't feel it.
