I've always gotten Melo Melo when I went down to SoCal, so I was ecstatic to hear that they opened one in Cupertino!!Overall, I give it a 4.5 stars and the -.5 is honestly just cause it's so pricey. Before I had Melo Melo, I had Tong Sui and honestly had it once or twice and it was nothing I really ever craves or cared about especially with how small the jar is and the price point being similar to Melo Melo's. This is also preference, but I didn't care for the density Tong Sui's coconut pudding had. It felt richer and easier to tire of while Melo Melo's is light and so easy to eat an entire jar (at that price point though, not good for my wallet). The Oreo pudding is denser though and probably because the oreo is mixed into the coconut pudding. Favorites:* Triple Latte* Golden Kiwi* Oreo* Yellow Dragonfruit Runner Ups:* Banana Nutella* Osmanthu Oolong Oat* Red BeanI wished the matcha had more of a matcha flavor but also, matcha coconut tasted.... strange to me. Wasn't a favorite and I like matcha also wasn't a fan of the Avocado coconut. I like it so much that I feel bad for my wallet. Will probably try to make it at home haha

I was really looking forward to MeloMelo opening up nearby. I saw that they almost opened one in Milpitas, but Cupertino is closer anyway! Well still much better than going all of the way to SoCal... Anyways, we got the strawberry puree coconut pudding and the purple rice mango coconut pudding. The pudding's consistency is not constant throughout; it's too solid at the top, then it thins out until it's a little watery at the bottom. Some people are saying it's undercooked -- it is more likely to happen due to overcooking, but I don't know really why it's like that. For what it's worth, I actually prefer the soft pudding and the base flavor in MeloMelo coconut puddings in LA over Tong Sui, but the inconsistency of the pudding and then the toppings at this location are another story...The strawberry puree was ok not amazing, but the mango was SOUR. Like I'm not talking unripe sour, it was like a sharp rancid. I decided to eat the purple rice and coconut pudding but avoided the mango. At the store, the lady in front of me bought the rest of the pure mango ones -- I felt jealous at the time but now I feel like I dodged something lol

Coconut Bliss Found!I'm so glad I stumbled upon Melo Melo in Japantown's Sawtelle neighborhood in Los Angeles! As a first-timer, I was blown away by the unique and delicious coconut desserts. The moment I took a spoonful, I knew I'd be back for more. What sets Melo Melo apart is its innovative approach to dessert. The coconut-based treats are not only creamy and refreshing but also healthy and guilt-free. Plus, they offer vegan options, making it an excellent choice for anyone. The texture is a perfect blend of pudding and jelly, making it a delightful treat for the senses. Whether you're planning a night out with friends, a family gathering, or a solo treat, Melo Melo is an excellent choice. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a dessert spot that's a cut above the rest, look no further than Melo Melo. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit!

Omg the interior decor was modern chic with some pink cutesy elements like I was obsessed!!!the service was also amazing!! the girls at the front were so sweet and accommodating especially with explaining what each dessert entails. i got the banana nutella coconut. so soft and creamy!! the banana and nutella flavors also went well with the coconut!! you also get to keep the cute glass jar!! also they told me that when you bring in 10(?) empty jars, you get a free coconut dessert i believe! so excited that they brought melo melo to the bay!! definitely recommend if you're a huge fan of coconut and healthy/vegan desserts

Had a chance to try Melo Melo which is a spot for different coconut yogurts. We came for a post dinner treat and we are glad we did. This place was pretty popping for a Sunday night but thankfully we were able to get in line and order. This lace has seating inside which we were able to grab which was nice and the ambiance is nice and clean.I ordered the Mango Coconut Sunset whigh came with the Coconut yogurt, mango and sticky rice. I enjoyed and it was quite refreshing! Overall worth giving this place a try!

There's a lot of hype at this place especially coming from SoCal and being pretty popular. I like MeloMelo, but I can't justify the price. When I went around noon, they had already run out of several flavors. The line was long but it moves pretty quick since it's grab and go. The ambiance inside was cute!! They have a cool wall display showcasing their offerings. I tried the sunset mango coconut, and the coconut jelly was really soft, almost like tofu pudding in texture. It was easy to eat and not too sweet. However, considering most items are $13.99 for just one, I'm not sure I'd return.

I'm excited that I was finally able to try MeloMelo! I love coconut pudding so I was really looking forward to it. I had the Oreo coconut pudding and it was delicious, great texture and not too sweet. I wasn't able to finish it all in one sitting so I was able to take some home for the next day. I came on a Wednesday night so it wasn't too crowded and I received my order quickly. The space is very clean, open, and well lit. I love the displays of the different puddings all over too - very cute! Only thing I really knock off a star for is the price. It was good, but my pudding was $12. I know they come in glass jars, but I still feel like $12 for pudding is pretty steep.

Melo Melo is the king or queendom of pudding from SoCal so heard of all the hype & enjoyed seeing their cute branding. 2.5/5 for my experiences, the stars left are really for the aesthetics, marketing and branding. Dragonfruit Pudding: I wanted to love it as a self professed lover of coconut pudding but did not have a great first experience taste wise, maybe it was what I ordered I got the dragonfruit pudding. I had migraines eating their pudding :( It was way too sweet for my taste as if something artificial was added to it. I could not finish the pudding (left over half of it in the jar). Is this location using real coconuts? I'm curious of the source as this was super concerning for me having a migraine after having a few bites of my pudding The spoons were also plastic (which I am of preference to compostable disposable spoons!) it felt a bit cheap with the plastic spoon. Service: The service was fine, queue was long and there was plenty of indoor seating but fully packed. You order via the server then you pick up on the right side of the store. Ambiance & Vibes: The ambiance is great and they have beautiful displays lining the interior of the store, but I really am a bigger fan of tong sui coconut pudding formula & they have more vegan options.

Victim of its hype. Heard of Melo Melo for awhile but my taste bud was first invaded by Tong Sui, and sadly, Melo Melo did not bring its comparison to a new level. We visited the store after the grand opening, at dinner time there was a short line. Customer service was good as they patiently explained the items and answered questions, despite a bit of the accent that did not help with the understanding. Also, they displayed so many choices that are actually hard to remember, esp when there are a couple different choices related to matcha for example. The store was pleasantly surprising in the deocrations. I was not expecting the interior to be so big, roomy and fancy. Even the chairs with clear plastic backing seemed custom made. This part is worth higher rating than 3. But the reason why I'm ranking it 3 star is because of the food and value/pricing. We ordered 4 to try as the first time, ube, mango, triple matcha, and sesame walnut. The coconut pudding is soft and creamy, but maybe a bit too soft, and the ube one tasted creamier than the triple matcha one. The ube one didn't seem so well smashed and I wonder if there's a need to also have a taro one as I would imagine them to be very similar in appearance or even taste. The sesame walnut is my favorite as the black sesame taste is about right. My friend prefers the one from Tong Sui though. None of us like the mango one as the mango chunks on the top are not sweet or juicy enough and even have some fiber that is hard to chew. I'm most disappointed with triple matcha because there's not enough flavor from the matcha. There's a matcha jelly layer on top but the gelatin texture is too outstanding from the soft coconut pudding. Then there's some matcha pudding at the bottom, so where is the triple coming from? The cheapest one is 9.99 and the most expensive one is 13.99. I bought 4 and total price was over $52. They have a loyalty program of every $100 spent you get a free one. I feel like a hefty portion of the price goes to the packaging. The orange-colored jar lid, the nice looking glass jar, the paper bag for take-out orders, which I honestly don't care so much about. Worst of all, the jars are all hard to open! After this experience, I find it hard to go back and re-order again despite that there are many other flavors to explore. If they want a prosperous business, I think they should break the price in tiers. For customers who just want to taste the product, bring down the price with a simpler packaging and make it take out only. For fancy instragramers or someone that wants to enjoy a nice sitting experience, offer, the fancy packaging and the nice seating designs.

So happy that they opened a Melo Melo in the Bay Area! No longer have to travel to LA for it. No complaints on the coconut jelly. Pretty much the same quality in the two times that I've went. Dropped one star for the wait of receiving the pre-made jar. Understandable that they are still new, so I hope this improves over time.Ps: I can finally trade in my jars that I've saved, for a small jasmine coconut. xD
