never been to the physical place but my most uber place. i always order a chicken tikka masala and it has never disappointed me, along with a lamb curry dish (recently ordered coconut lamb and it's now my favorite even better than the chicken tikka masala!) and naan. for the price, this place cannot be beat cause of the portions they give and it comes with rice!! apparently a side of rice isn't common around here :(anyways my favorite indian spot and just wanted to write this review because after cheating on my fav (bc it was close), i learned to really appreciate this place

A very nice small Indian restaurant in a cluster of south Asian restaurants in south berkeley. The restaurant is cozy and low key fancy. A good place to have a casual dinner date night with your sweetie. Food was good. The samosas were particularly spicy and delicious. I'm a huge fan of palak paneer and .. it was good. Not the best I've had but not the worst by far. The naan were very good and rice was also great. This place is low-key good. Nothing fancy or blow your mind delicious but as I said, great for a date night.

Ordered off too good to go.. small restaurant with a few tables . I walked in to a short line picked up my order of chicken tiki masala it came with a small rice and roti.. ended up getting an order of lentil soup and the special which was veggie somas..all the food was nice and hot the veggies somas were sooooo good big and stuffed with well seasoned potatoes .

Fast and polite service but the food was super oily. The oil separated and sat on top of all 3 dishes. My partner said the lamb was good. I liked the chicken tiki masala but it's more tomatoey than what I am used to. Overall - they are good.

Got the lamb vindaloo with a group DoorDash order and it was yum and so well packaged! The sauce did leak out on the corners so make sure that you keep the food upright! It is gorgeous and the rice is so delicious though, definitely a super yummy experience!If you order through DoorDash they pack the food in separate bags which was super neat and orderly!

I've tried their food twice from the Too Good To Go app. The first time was curry chickpeas and it came with rice and naan. The second was the Curry chicken. It's small place with about 8 tables, but the staff is pleasant and my food is always ready.There was enough for me to have it for dinner and lunch. The flavor is good, but toned down for non-indian folks and a little too greasy for me as told by the 1/2 oil that was layered on the top. But they don't waste their food and a great way to try a new place. I will be back to eat in person or at least try some other foods on their menu.

I'll start by saying Mehak knows how to flavor their food and the taste is delicious. The service is usually the issue, not the food. I order from Mehak using food delivery apps and they often get the order wrong. I've ordered chicken tikka masala and aloo saag, just to receive only the saag, more times than I can count. It's really frustrating, especially since the food is good, and the chicken tikka is the main dish I look forward to! I don't know why they can't accurately carry out an order.

The best curries ever. Perfectly seasoned and spiced. I've had their vegetarian curries and chicken tiki masala, and is some of the best I've tasted. I've only ever gotten take out, but excited to bring friends for lunch or dinner. Very kind staff. Cozy atmosphere. I ordered take-out one evening, it was so good that I gone back the next evening to try other items, it was THAT DELICIOUS.
