Wings are Fire! So much flavor it's amazing ! The Aguachile is very good . Tonight we tried new flavors and they are on point. Food here is always Hot and Fresh

Keep it straight forward. I went to the 700 Pennsylvania ave in Richmond location. After wanting to try mariscos el layo for a year I finally did it. Its located inside a liquor storeAbout 5-7 parking spots or street parking . I went with a couple of friends we got :10 lemon mango10 Parmesan garlic10 lemon pepper10 buffaloReg friesShrimp pasta Lemon mango 9/10 sweet taste and a hint of lemonParmesan garlic 5/10 no Parmesan, dry. and over fried was really excited for that oneLemon pepper 10/10 super flavorful Buffalo 8/10 small kick but delicious Reg fries 10/10 seasoned and better than wingstop fries.Shrimp pasta 4/10 no flavor , but super creamy though. Was excited for the pasta but lacked seasoning. Food was served extremely hot 10/10Service 10/10They do get pretty busy here so call in your order .

So I used to buy from this spot back when they were serving in the neighborhood out a family house. A lot has changed since then and the quality has remained persistent and kind of even improved.Food: the Aguachiles are on point. I don't like spicy personally, but these Aguachiles got a tasty slickness too it that doesn't leave a burn and is enjoyable once being eaten and leaves a good aftertaste. Comes with about 8-9 fat shrimps cut and cleaned out and the right amount of onion and cucumber to where it's not overwhelming. Highly Recommend.The Ceviche was my second best option out of the2. I really like how he serves an option of vegan ceviche as well made with soy meat. Full of flavor and same the vegetables mix well with the spices to create a tasty healthy flavor with the shrimp or soy. Very good.The wings are smacking ! Fat and tasty wings for sure, the lemon pepper wings are delicious with the fries on the side, last time I got my fries a bit soggy which some people like but if you don't like that I recommend you let the server (Layo) ahead of time.Customer Service: I was comfortable and felt welcome to the spot inside the corner store this place is located in. Layo always has a cool attitude and is a pretty funny guy and intriguing nonetheless. I appreciate the convos and jokes while he makes the food and I'm waiting. Really nice guy and sometimes even hooks it up with a drink or some if you come through often. Layo , You the man!Location: This is mainly the reason why I chose 4 starts, nothing to do with the food or customer service, just not too easy to find if you're not from the area.For people who come from places away it's located in a corner store (yellow) on the corner of Pennsylvania and Seventh st, In Richmond CA, could be intimidating from the outside but definitely a chill spot to come grab some quick food, munchies, drinks shit even alcohol.Will update with picture of food later on.

Use to come here every now and then but I stopped supporting since the day I placed an order for a charola for a party and he canceled on me without a notice. I find out he was "closed" the day I was going to pick up the charola, I messaged him and he gave me a bs excuse that it was his mothers birthday. This is not how you run a business. He also increased his prices while reducing the portions on his food. Might as well go eat at a real restaurant for that price.

Shrimp quesadillas are on point! Worth the trip from anywhere in the bay for sure! Shrimps are nice and juicy and a great flavor overall.

This man makes the best Ceviche and AguaChile north of border.. I've been a customer for over a year now and I plan on being a customer for as long as possible. Go check him out now at the new spot on 7th & Pensilvania.

LAYO WAS SUPER RUDE when i walked in he farted out loud i was like wtf LOL Man I was exited to try the pizza fries but when I got them they had a big piece of hair in it. when I told him about it he told me to step outside and run him a fade he pushed me and started getting crazy also Ordered a 10 pc wings all came over fryed people try and give him constructive criticism online but he just blocks them he needs to know his food taste like butt checks !!

The owner attitude sucks big time. Been twice won't be going back. He has the worst attitude ever for somebody to be dealing with customers. First time he had an attitude he actually forgot to take my money. I left realizing I hadn't paid I returned gave him money cause that's the right thing to do. Went back yesterday I said I wanted the Wednesday special in my mind I wanted the 10 with fries he said I have a 15 piece I'll keep in there longer. I said okay not tripping that he has a 15 piece cooking so when he told me total it was more then expected of course he was charging me a 15 not a 10. So he says you said you wanted the 15 piece I said no you said you had 15 pieces cooking I didn't even know you have a 15 piece matter fact you never asked you just told me you a 15 piece cooking. Anyway we went back and fourth for a slight min but how do you get upset cause you have a 15 piece cooking already but I only want 10. Like get over it stop treating your customers bad. I heard you over the phone frustrated and you talk smart. You also was had a attitude with another customer inside. Good luck in the hood cause your attitude stinks
