We held a 75th birthday party at Marigold last weekend. This is a great space in a great location! It's above Churchill's at the corner of Church and 14th. Had around 60 guests. Everything went swimmingly and all the guests had a great time. Many of my friends complimented the space, which was perfect for us. Easy to use audio and video. Great food from the caterers. Great on-the-spot service from Carlos, who also ran the bar. They also included a special cocktail that a friend had "invented" for me! We dealt with Jacobo in the weeks leading up to it. He was super helpful and gave us some great suggestions, including the caterer, Hil's.Heartily recommend Marigold for such events.

This is an amazing location for a party! Jacobo answered many questions about the venue/drinks etc. He was great at communicating and also gave me a fantastic recommendation for a caterer - Hil's Cooking. The venue is really beautiful with a mural, and Jacobo had flowers on the tables for us. We used the projector to show photographs. Carlos, the barman, was great and made the best cocktails/mocktails. Beautiful venue. Thank you for making it special for my husband's birthday! We will be back!

We just had our intimate engagement party at this gorgeous gem in SF. I had a lovely experience working with Jacobo from beginning to end. He was professional, responsive, and fun to work with. I trusted him with decisions and suggestions as he really knew the "events world".The party itself was awesome! We brought in a few snacks, a walk around magician, a dj, guitarist, and a surprise opera singer while playing Peaky Blinders on the large projection screen in the background. We also showed our engagement video with ease, and that left no dry eyes in the room.They have in-house electric candles, coat rack w/ hangers, lounge furniture, a handheld mic, a few tables w/ linens, and personalized drink menus (they let me create my own fun names to their delicious and beautiful cocktails!).The staff onsite... amazing! Door Guy, Winston (great!), Barback, Sabino (great!), and Bartenders: Carlos and Miguel (AMAZING!). They were the best. They were kind, quick, talented, and super professional. They work downstairs at Churchill bar sometimes, so please visit them (we will!). They will make the tastiest and most Instagram-friendly cocktails :)Contact them for a site visit... you will fall in love with the space for sure!

This is a top-notch location for an event and I highly recommend it! Right from the start, communication with Jacobo was timely and informative. I was given several options, and provided with information for adjunct resources in case I did not already have my own. No hard sell, and an opportunity to visit the location. It is very clean.Our event was made more special by the attentiveness of Jacobo and Carlos to our needs. Carlos was available to ensure set up was as we wanted, and all the guests indicated his drinks at the bar were on point! The ambiance was welcoming and the venue comfortably allowed for mingling, the vibe we were seeking. Very sincere thanks to Jacobo for saving the day after a BIG catering miss.

I had my 30th birthday party here and it was amazing to say the least! Michelle who led the event planning was very easy to work with and quick to respond to all my questions. The venue is perfect for small to medium size parties, I had about 50 people there. The space has a great vibe to it, and is super cute! You can bring in your own tables and things if needed but it was ideal as is for me. The bartenders and staff were awesome, they made some of the best drinks we've ever had! They were so nice and made the party feel even more special. I am so happy I choose Marigold for my party, I would recommend it to anyone and I will also use them again in the future. I would give more stars if I could!

Michelle and the entire team at Marigold were AMAZING!I hosted my 30th birthday here last year, and I could not have picked a better venue to host it.Some highlights of the space:- We were able to create a custom cocktail program for the event, printed beautifully on menus, and all of the drinks were delicious (even the non-alcoholic option, which may have been the best one!)- Completely private and customizable, with the A/V setup I needed to pull together the event- A bouncer! and you can even determine the secret phrase guests need to use at the door to be admitted- Open bar!! at a very reasonable price - A dedicated venue manager, Michelle, who was INCREDIBLEEven from before the event, Michelle was so friendly and supportive, and helped connect me to a variety of potential vendors. I had a very out of the box vision I was trying to pull together for this party, and Michelle was so supportive and enabling every step of the way to help bring this crazy vision to life. She was a huge help during the day of the event, helping to coordinate various moving pieces, from the DJ, to a brass band I hired, to various programmatic elements. After the event was over (I was a little intoxicated), she was so patient with me in terms of picking up items I left at the venue. Marigold was exactly what I needed for my event (and I went through no shortage of venue options during the planning process). I could not have picked a better venue. Highly recommend!

This was the venue of choice for our 2022 Winter Social event and it didn't disappoint. Our party consisted of 23 people, catered food on site (from an outside vendor we found), bar service, and use of their projection and sound system to Zoom into our US office award event. We rented the venue from 1-5pm, arrived at noon to set up, and were out on time as there was another event booked for after us. Michelle of Marigold Event Space was extremely pleasant and easy to work with from start to finish, scheduling time to come by a week ahead to test the projector/sound system set up, moving the tables around to accommodate the camera view we wanted and her accessibility leading up to and on the day of the event. The drink selection and bartender were both amazing and the resounding feedback from our office is that it was one of our best office events to date. Highly recommend this venue for both company and private gatherings.Pros: Efficient and friendly Marigold Event Space team, great drinks, and comfortable space.Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

I don't think this event space is well known so I wanted to leave a review to let others know about it. Recently my daughter and I hosted a Celebration of Life there. We had two choices of the upstairs or downstairs. Both were great spaces but we opted for downstairs due to its larger seating area. The manager Jacobo was extremely accommodating and attentive to our needs. He recommended a caterer and a florist and both were great. They have a mic for speeches and TV's for photos or whatever you need. We had the whole bar to ourselves. They provided a bartender and outside security. Prices were reasonable. It's on Church and Market so very easy for people coming from the east bay or other parts of SF. I can't praise it enough!
