This review is quite a few months late, so I apologize if the prices have changed again since then.I called ahead on the phone to order takeout, and got the falafel wrap since they told me at the time that they were out of the keto wrap. When I arrived, the workers didn't seem to know anything about the order I had made via phone, and they ended up just making the order from scratch.Fortunately only took a few mins, but it was $11.95 before tax and tip which was significantly more than what their online ordering site indicated ($9.95 for this item). The wrap contained falafel, lettuce, onion, sauce. The falafel was pretty good. It seemed they used tortillas for the wrap part itself.I thought the food was yummy, but took a star off due to the confusing experience at pickup time and the discrepancy between the online posted price and the actual amount charged when I got there.

The owner "Mohammad" welcomed us as soon as we came in. We ordered kofta and the sampler plate. I got a bottled ice tea and my mother ordered a latte which she said was one of the best lattes she's had!The food was so fresh and tasty. Super well seasoned and texture. The ingredients are high quality and the portions are filling. Mohammad even gave me a slice of the delicious cake because it was my birthday!!! The cake is moist and not overly sweet. Good with coffee or tea. That perfect ending to a good meal.Highly recommend this restaurant. Gives that good satisfying homemade meal..... come try. : parking is difficult, suggest parking lot...located inside Frank Ogawa Plaza

Ordered delivery from grub hub for Marhabah Cafe. Chose the salmon rice plate (comes with rice, salad, and roasted veggies) $14.95. Added a side (pint) of lentil rice for a later meal. Food was flavorful and they used good quality ingredients. I would definitely order from here again to try their other dishes.

Best place to eat in the center! It's healthy! I find that all the other places are garbage or fast food. It's a tad pricey but they also have good smoothies and cheap breakfast sandwich options.

I drop in to Marhabah Cafe whenever I'm in downtown Oakland. The food here tastes great. I've tried a few of their sandwiches and one of their plates and have been pretty happy with everything. Their falafel and hummus are top notch, and the staff are all friendly. Pictured is the chicken pesto panini because it's the only thing ai remembered to take a photo of.Otherwise, make sure you try their Arabic / Turkish coffee. I crave that pretty consistently and this is one of the few places who make it well.

One of the great things about living in the SF Bay Area is the diversity of restaurants, that allow you to try the foods of the world. I saw the great reviews for Marhabah Cafe, and decided to get takeout at lunchtime. I ordered the Chicken & Lamb Combo plate. It included: yellow basmati rice, hummus, salad, pita, and yogurt sauce. Wow, I don't know what they use to bring out the natural flavors of the food, but it created a great meal. It's not overly spicy. It's seasoned just right. The chicken and lamb were tender and juicy. The rice was soft and not mushy. Along with the yogurt sauce and hummus, it makes you want to keep eating it. And that's good for the restaurant, as it gets them repeat business. I'll be back to try something else....
