I got the Pad See Ew noodles with tofu and it was delicious! The only thing that could have made it better was if it was spicy. There was no option on Door Dash to choose level of spice so it was not spicy at all (at least this was better than it being too spicy tho). Noodles were wide and tasted super fresh. The tofu was also soft and not fried which I prefer. The mango sticky rice was also very tasty. Service was fast as Door Dash had quoted me 40 minutes but it was ready in 20.

It has been years since I have been to Mai Thai. Met a friend for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I had fresh spring rolls. They could have used more mint but they were good and peanut sauce was creamy but not greasy like the last place I ate. The Thai iced tea was, well sweet, but good. I had a crispy chicken with garlic? It came out super crunchy and had great flavor. Nothing comes with rice so you had to buy a side of rice then put it under the food you were served. The chicken needed more sauce and needed to be served with rice on the bottom. Other than that, no complaints. I will definitely e back

The service was accommodating to us when we came in. Though my family came in for a long-awaited reunion and the volume of my family may have overwhelmed the staff, because the main dishes didn't come out as great as we anticipated it would be. All the same, the Thai tea tasted good, appetizers were mouth-watering, and the ambiance was calming.

Haven't been here in years, but since I was in town, my family and I decided to eat in Benicia.S E R V I C E:We arrived a couple of minutes before they opened for dinner at 5, and they let us in right on the dot! The menu seemed different compared to the last time I came, so I was very intrigued. We were served right away and staff was very friendly with smiles :)F O O D: We ordered cheese Rangoon for appetizer and I loved how light and crispy they were. I could honestly eat a whole plate to myself haha. For the main dishes, we shared their crispy pineapple chicken, chicken pad Thai, and green curry with sides of rice. The pad Thai was my favorite; it was creamy and noodles were perfectly cooked. The green curry has always been a favorite of mine, and the crispy chicken is something I normally don't order! However I was pleasantly surprised. For dessert, we obviously had to get mango and sticky rice! I loved how the rice was green! O V E R A L L:This place will always be one of my favorite Thai restaurants. You can't go wrong having a date night here along with its moody ambiance or having family dinner with how spacious it is here!.

Pretty standard Thai. The ambiance is super chill with lots of seating. Service was really nice and efficient. Loved how it's on first street and you can take a nice walk after stuffing yourself. We ordered the Pad See Ew and the Thai Crying tiger steak. Maybe I'm a little bias, but Thai food is top 5 for me when it comes to food. So I thought the food was delicious. Overall, this place is chill if you're trying to have dinner by yourself or chill with your significant other. Highly recommended if you're into Thai food.

Mai Thai serves some a wide array of Thai food in the Benicia area and is located in the busy area downtown. I came here on the weekend for a late lunch with a few friends. The restaurant has a dimmer ambiance and provides seating for groups of various sizes. Service was good despite it taking a while for our orders to be taken (which is okay because there was only one server on the floor -- a packed house with limited staff is rough). I ordered the pineapple chicken with sticky rice. It was crispy and not greasy which I loved, but lacked sauce. The sticky rice was a perfect portion to complement the dish. I'm hoping to try the rangoon dish and one of the noodle dishes here next time!

It's been awhile since I've eaten at Mai Thai. I ordered it through DoorDash once, but was pretty disappointed. I decided to give it another try, but dine inside. I took my mom here and we were greeted by a friendly waitress. She sat us near the piano. It was kind of busy, but not too loud where I couldn't hear my mom. We ordered the Papaya Salad, Green Curry with tofu, and the Drunken Noodles with chicken; all slightly spicy. The Papaya Salad was really good and refreshing. The Green Curry and Drunken Noodles came soon after, and I was amazed with the portions!! We still had to order a side of white rice for the curry, as it does not come with it. The Green Curry had so much flavor and I couldn't stop eating it!! I do wish I ordered the tofu fried, because it was a big mushy. The Drunken Noodles was really yummy and simple. The price for everything wasn't bad in my opinion. I'd definitely dine here again!!

I love Thai food, this place was disappointing. The portions are much smaller than other places (see fried rice). The rice was super plain, I ended up adding salt. I order Thai fried rice at every Thai place I go to and this is bottom tier. The pad Thai was one dimensional and tasted overly sweet, lacking any other seasoning. It was the worse of all the dishes (2/5 stars). The red and yellow curries were the better dishes and had nice flavors, but still like some seasonings with mostly a powerful coconut taste. The garlic entree was mediocre, wasn't bad, but wasn't good.I recommend going to pearl thai on South Hampton, flavors are better there.
