The Dutch crunch is the bomb!We found this at Costco Business Center in South SF and we're hooked! Restaurant quality...obviously, it has to be because Maggiora supplies a lot of the local restaurants and delis with their delicious bread. Dutch crunch in particular is hard to find outside of the West Coast...heck, even outside of California. I learned this when I was living in Long Island, NY and was fiending for some. I had to resort to making my own, and that didn't turn out so well to say the least.Long story short: stock up on this fab roll. Lightly toasted, it'll bring your sammie to a whole new level.

I've only had their Deli Style Sourdough Bread, 2 lbs from the Costco Business Center in Hayward. It is hands-down THE best pre-sliced commercial sourdough I've ever had. The flavor is great, and the bread has some density or substance to it, unlike other pre-sliced commercial sourdough. The only thing that sucks about the bread is that more often than not, if you get to the Costco Business Center in Hayward towards the end of the day, it'll all be gone. Unfortunately, they don't carry it at regular Costcos. I also wish Costco carried other Maggiora products as I'd like to try them, and I haven't seen them in other local stores.

Maggiora Baking Company distributes breads/rolls thruout the bay area, Kinder Meats is one of their clients.seldom seen their baked goods in deli, sammie shops, Maggiora breads are sturdy, never falls apart before their time, seldom gets soggy. not airy like typical subway, which wich, and other sub shops.their breads/rolls are comfort food. they complete a meal beyond just holding a sammie together.prescene of Maggiora breads are a sign of good eating to come.

NOTE: This review is based solely on their old-fashioned honey white bread. That being said, anyone who can make white bread as good as this white bread deserves this many stars, no matter the quality of whatever else they make. This bread is soft, but not in an empty, foamy way like Wonderbread or other commercial white breads. It is soft in a way that says, "I realize I'm white bread, but that doesn't mean I can't have a good soft-but-firm bite to me." This builds on top of the fact that it isn't a tasteless white bread. Sure, it's not as heartily layered in flavors like a rye, or as tangy and kick-in-the-tongue as some sourdoughs, but it's got a good, solid taste that few other white breads can match. Add to that what sure feels like a slightly thicker slice than most white breads and you end up with this delicious white slice of heaven, all waiting to surround your meat and/or cheese and OH my goodness that was a bad phrasing. What I am saying is, this is a bread that is delicious. It serves well as both a regular sandwich bread (try it with egg salad! whole new world to be experienced there) and also as a fried bread (had a grilled cheese sandwich using this bread last night, and oh heavens what a flavor sensation). Thank you, Maggiora Baking Company, for making this delicious bread. Thank you for selling it to Diablo Foods, too, so that they could use it in their sandwiches, where I first ate it, and then finally got up the balls to ask, "so hey, what kind of bread is that, anyway?"

I love the bread from Dutch crunch French to sour ,I have a deli and all my customers love this bread but man oh man I shop at the Costco Hayward business and the delivery driver is not just so rude he seems to make us all wait till he is ready ,as I write this review I am watching him acting like he is doing stuff on his truck but obviously he is just moving around !!! We depend on this brand because it satisfies our customers and we are here early to get the best ones but as always I'm here from half hour to hour because he is on his time !!! he has been doing the same thing in the same space for the past half hour !!

I think these rolls are excellent. They are soft and fragrant without the yeasty aroma you get from some other brands. I think their main customers are delis and commercial restaurants ....which is a shame since they taste way better than the rolls you can buy at the supermarket bakeries. They sell these rolls at the Business Costco in Hayward on A street. $2.19 for a pack of 6. It's a good deal. I only wish they sold them at other Costco locations.
