A nice neighborhood Liquor that is located in Newark where I grew up. Staff here is always friendly, and they are like family. They have a wide variety of liquors to choose and staff is very knowledgeable in just about everything. They have Western Union available if you ever need to wire your money. What makes this particular unique is that they have a lot of Portuguese items such as meats and breads. This is because long time ago Madeira Liquors was owned by a Portuguese man. Overall, a nice place to get what you need if you are in the area.

Great friendly place with a lot of Bay Area culture. Larry's a legend and bill is the boss! I give them 5 stars because they a real liquor store with good donkey prices that they promote. Just ask what's in the cooler lol.

Madeira Discount Liquor really isn't. most beers have no pricing. just a few have prices which seem reasonable. the rest unpriced. large selection of mainstream, mex, and microbrews. wines priceybrew: rollling rock (can, 1.69)-ok generic beer.drips:-aisles on the cramped side.-scanners used so everyone is overcharged the same.-ample parking in front.

Very very croweded liquor store. Not a big selection on mixers but a lot of domestic beer and soft drinks. Pretty good selection on all the snacks and junk food your belly may desire. Their prices are just like any other liquor store but i have to say i was surprised that they had La Pinta and they also had Nuvo chilled. Nice, nice...

Mainly visit this liquor stores to by scratchers. Madeira Liquor store is where I have majority of my wins. I'll occasionally snag a bottle of wine if I have just won from the scratchers.

I do not trust the cashiers here. I paid with my debit card and seen fraudulent charges on it the very next day. I cannot say for sure it was them who did the fraud. But, If I had to make an educated guess I would speculate the fraud started here. If you do shop here, I advise you to pay cash, not debit/credit. Beware!!!
