I had the fried chicken drumsticks and leg quarters. They were a little on the salty side for my taste. The crust had a nice crunch. The meat was slightly dry. There were two customers just waiting. Now I'm wondering if they were waiting for a new batch to be fried. I might return to try my luck getting a fresh fried batch.

Man this really that community spot, in the cut, local shhh. I always pass this place otw to the gym and the "HOT FRIED CHICKEN EBT" is what caught my attention. I had a feeling it was a lowkey but fire spot. And it was exactly that. I've only tried their fired chicken and waffle but man the prices are too good and the food is fire. Everything is so flavorful. I appreciate places like this and I even brought some to a party and everyone was asking me where I got this chicken from haha. It's just your local corner market that happens to have dank food. Bring cash if you wanna avoid a small card fee! Ima fasholy be back here

Boy, oh boy. This chicken, is shmackin! I wouldn't have known about this place until my coworker brought a bunch of the fried chicken and shared it. The wings! The breasts! Not to mention, the hot link sandwich! All thanks to my coworker for introducing this place. The place is a regular corner store market where you can also buy food ready to eat. Not to mention when you have both the chicken and waffle, best combination ever. I totally recommend to try their chicken and waffle. The prices aren't bad either! My coworker always has great service there whenever she orders. Thank you for serving some good chicken, hot link sandwiches, and waffles.

The staff at this location is friendly, they have bomb fried chicken, corn dogs and fries! I haven't tried their sandwiches but legend has it that it's solid! They have a good selection drinks and snacks! This is the place where mclymonds high students grub, it's a place worth checking out

Walked in had seen Christy Mc post on ig! Please follow her. She has so many good spots! I walked in looking for chicken and waffles and kerns! I can not believe they had kerns 2 limited editions at that! Grab the kerns and go talk to the front counter people! Both of the fire!!! Greeting Customers acknowledging all of us! Yass 2 grown men with greeting skills on point. I say I would like chicken and waffles. One of the gentleman says it will be 3 minutes is that ok? I said yea it could be all day. I been wanting these since I saw her ig last night. I said to the other gentleman. I can't believe chicken and waffles are right her! I told him about seeing it on ig. I said she stated the waffles are fire! He said you won't be disappointed! He said what pieces of chicken did I want and how many. I decided on wings and drums. Only 3 bc I didn't know how they tasted! Dummy me because they were so delicious! The waffle so soft and warm and huge! I couldn't believe my mouth. The chicken omg juicy moist flavorful delicious! I will be back! I will be back!

Christy Mac had me on a mission from the "Deep East" to the West to taste these chicken wings & they definitely did NOT disappoint. Christy did recommend the waffle but I/we only had a taste for wings & ordered 12 party wings that came in a white paper bag. The seasoned fries were nothing special. I will definitely be back for the party wings & try the waffle

Update- homemade mac and cheese is in the house and it's perfection! $3 for a small container filled to the brim with perfectly cooked elbow macaroni and cheese. Traditional cheese none of that foody fancy cheeses or mix ins.Coming back soon!

Chicken and Waffles are delicious! 10/10. It gets busy from time to time and it's worth the wait.

Hidden gem slangin' some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The chicken, when fresh out of the fryer, is crispy, juicy, flavorful, and best of all - affordable. Do yourself a favor and try it out. Bring me some, too.
