My family and I came by not really expecting much from this place. We were excited to try some of the lao dishes we grew up with and were pleasantly surprised with quick service, good food, and a fun environment. We ordered the angel wings, beef jerky, lao sausage, papaya, and khao piek. All were made fresh and quick. A solid pick if you want to impress some friends with well made lao food from a small cafe in the back of a bowling alley. Would definitely revisit this place!

Ok - hear me out. This place is so strange because it's more of a grab and go place INSIDE of Castro Village Bowl. But we got the pad see ew and the fried rice here with a drink (total $44) because we were starving and didn't have time for dinner before meeting up with a friend group to bowl - and I was pleasantly surprised at the value of what we got??Pros:- The 2 dishes we ordered, came with HUGE portions - I was so surprised because I expected it to be overpriced (since it's inside the bowling alley and the place also services bar food/fried food fitting for a bowling alley)- Tasted pretty good honestly! not bad. it didn't hold up well later in the night or the next day, but not terrible.- decent amount of veggies and meat in the pad see ew! - Pretty quick service, food came out in less than 10 mins, and they gave us a buzzer so we knew when the food was readyCons:- obviously service can be a bit hit or miss, but it's a bowling alley, so set your expectations accordinglyOverall, I wouldn't come out of my way to eat here - but it is refreshing to not only be stuck eating fried bar food at the alley

This place is awful... stay away from all the menu items except... Corn dog Fries Burger and tots... The service is horrible the ladies are rude and condescending. Their prices are worst then sit down restaurants... honestly eat before you come or after... these ladies are horrible and rude.

Literally can't go wrong here. I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu. It is inside the Castro village bowling. Must try! The ladies are so sweet here and the food is quick and delicious.

This spot is so underrated! It's so good! None of the other Thai places in the area come close to this spot! Their papaya salad and other dishes are so good! Everything is so flavorful and perfect. I literally dream of this spot.

I had been wanting to try this place and man what a huge disappointment... got the Laos style papaya salad, chicken pad thai, and beef pad kee mao. Everything we ordered was beyond bland. Customer service was also poor as the lady who took my order was rude and seemed pissed to take my order. Authentic Thai/laos food is tough to find in the area but how can a staple thai dish like pad Thai be so bad...

Deep Fried Spare Rib with Special SauceMy FAVORITE dish. I order it to go usually after I am done bowling as I need some good food to absorb all the alcohol I consumed. I can't tell you how much I love this dish. I look forward to taking it home every time I bowl. I was very skeptical about getting Thai food from a bowling alley, but the menu looked good and I was shopping in the area so I tried for the first time today. Ordered the eggplant with chicken. I ordered without asking the price so was a bit surprised at how expensive the dish was(almost $20) but gotta say the taste was pretty good. They said 15/20 mins wait but it came out in 10. The lady who took the order was nice. Though the food was pretty good given the environment that they are serving- bowling alley, the price is too high for me.

Great food! Not your normal bowling alley food. Try their chicken wings, appetizers and rice plates.
