This place has really turned around for the good. When we first moved into the area, we went here a couple of times to try their pakoras, jamuns and samosas & noticed there was no fixed prices. So every visit we paid a different amount and the taste wasn't that good either so eventually we stopped going. However after almost 2yrs we stopped here on a Friday night to pick some chaat & noticed they had upped their interiors and also had a new menu. Since then we've been here 3 times in just a week cause we really enjoyed what we had :)We've tried paneer and aloo parathas (fantastic), garlic naan (definitely needs to be more garlicky) malai kofta (order only if you enjoy sweet, creamy bases), Bhel puri & Samosa chaat & enjoyed them all. I would say the chaat can be a bit on the spicy side which I didn't mind but maybe mention something while you place an order so they know how your spice tolerance is. They also serve a variety of Indian sweets and snacks which I noticed is now stored in a much cleaner space and also presented really well. Next time, maybe I'll pick a few sweets to try.

Good food, especially the combo/Thaali options. Our favorite is the Sarson ka Saag Makki Di Roti thali. It comes with a nice fragrant green mustard and spinach Saag with fresh butter, Makki (Corn) Rotis, Rajma/Dal side dish, Boondi Raita and rice. Makes a wholesome meal. We also like their Pani poori, Tikki Chaat and Chole Bhature. Today we were served a sample of hot Jalebi fresh out of the kitchen. It was crispy, soaked in sugar syrup and super crunchy. They also serve Farsaan and a large variety of sweets. There's a parking lot but it can sometimes be challenging finding a spot during the weekend as that whole area has a lot of foot traffic with shops, restaurants and the huge Indian grocery store. Service is quick and they pay attention to specifications.

The worst food ever i had in bay area or anywhere for that matter. This place is literally sh*t.We got jalebi, Rasmali and malai sandwiches and few other things. Everything was very bad. It was like atleast more than a week stale and taste was disgusting and unhealthy. My 4 yr old son ate from the box as soon as we reached home, i stopped him in time but he still fell sick after eating. Please go anywhere else but here.

I saw a lot of complaints on Yelp about this business so walked in with low expectations. So, I decided to do a balanced review for my fellow Yelpers. Pros:1. I received decent customer service and my order was ready fairly quick. Granted that this isn't the most beautiful looking restaurant, it's more of a hole in the wall place. 2. They do have legit paranthas though and that's what I went in for. 3. And Ofcourse with that spread of mithai that they have, I had to get some of that as well. 4. The food I ordered was yummy. Paranthas come with chole (chickpea curry), raita (herbed yogurt), pickle and onions. I was missing butter in my take away but not a big deal. I got 3 types and would rank them in order of taste preference as : Paneer, Aloo and Gobhi. I got a mixed pack of mithai (about 1-1/2 lb) and everything tasted very good. Cons:1. There was no menu available. Only some good pictures on the wall behind the counter. I ordered paranthas because I read it in the reviews. 2. The mithai is not labeled with names and prices. I recognize most mithai but didn't have the time and energy to ask for prices. So it counted out to be whatever it is. And I see that is a major complaint that most customers have.

They had a very nice selection of sweets to choose from. And the person behind the counter was very knowledgeable and helped me pick the items. I would definitely visit this place again

Worst Samosa experience with weird behaviour by the owner lady. Overcharged for one samosa $3:58. Never try to have anything.
