Los Pericos Market

We came here looking for tomatillos, pickled pork skin, and Chicharron with meat. But there was only regular Chicharron. It was a Wednesday around 8pm. So maybe that's why there's no Chicharron with meat. And the pickled pork skin wasn't as soft and vinegary as the one from Chavez. Disappointed.

I like that I have no idea how most of the ingredients manifest themselves into Mexican meal. There's a meat and fish counter and some lunch bites to go. I come here for limes vegetables and the occasional toothbrush. A little bit if everything. They are polite

It's a great place to stop by before heading out to the park and enjoying the sun. Chichcarones, candy, fresh produce all in fair pricing and safe and clean parking!

For a quick item pick-up, I like this spot Ran inside to get some tostadas and the price is greatStore layout has changed a bit but it's clean and prices are fair

Market just down the street from our place that is great. The fresh salsa is fantastic, there's a decent selection of produce and the prices are super reasonable. The staff is always super friendly as well. Very happy to have this place so close to home.

I think Yelps directions are messed up, the address is correct, but this market is on the corner of Marina and Doolittle. I've always had friendly service here, always greeted with a smile. I usually just go here for some pre run snacks and fluids. Nice little Market!!

Los Pericos is a chain in the 'dro that operates mex markets and tacquerias. market is small compared to the supers but they have all theimportant departments: produce, groceries, meats, beers, etc. but no taqueria.place is clean, shelves are well stocked. only complaint is the prices rung up don't match the posted price. a few cents differentbuys: tecate(1.99) charged 1.79+ .30 +.10 =2.19-tamale(1.5) cbarged 1.59 (actually they forgot to charge this. reminded them.leftovers:-no biggee-smiling service3.5 stars

If you're trying to throw a little get together, and want to have it come together for not too much money this is the right spot. Excellent and affordable butcher in the back. Cervezas in the fridge, produce down the isle and tortillas on the counter. Get it crackin for not more than $40. That is what I want in my local markets.

My local goto spot for Mexican groceries including meats and fresh-made salsas. The places in Oakland around Fruitvale and International are always a pain to find parking and are a hit-or-miss as far as variety, quality and overall experience (including a more sketch location TBH)These folks are always super friendly, have amazing meats (the chicken fajitas and pork al pastor are crazy tasty), have a super clean store and always have plenty of parking right next to the storeIf you're over in Alameda, especially Bay Farm, it's way easier to get here than deal with driving over to Oakland and hunt for parking. Given the amazing food options, it's a no brainer

Just an all around wonderful little local grocery store. The staff is always so friendly and they really take pride in keeping the store fully stocked and clean.
