Really delicious. I got the Quesabirria plate. Tacos were crispy and filled. The side of diced red onions were nice to add in the tortilla. The grilled jalapeño on the side was spicy. Consommé had flavor. Some taste like water but this one had spice that I needed water. Beans and rice were good to dip chips in. Service was friendly and ambiance had a real Mexican feel. Mexican music and Mexican men drinking beer at noon. I'll be back.

I love this place -- it's reliable, has a large menu including LOTS of breakfast burritos, and everyone is always super friendly. Which honestly these days makes a huge difference for me. I get carne asada, the huevos rancheros, and occasionally a shrimp taco or nachos. Everything is affordable and always flavorful. Not the best salsa but like I said the overall experience is so pleasant and the food it's always consistently decent

This place was a mixed bag for us. The Wife and I stopped by after visiting Clio's across the street. We both ordered fajitas, one prawn and one chicken. The chips and salsa were fine, the two salsas fairly hot. I also ordered a Modelo, which was never delivered. The Wife wanted a side of guacamole, and this seemed to confuse the on wait person. She wasn't sure how to charge for that. I enjoyed my entree very much. The prawns were cooked well, tails removed, excellent flavor. And there were several of them. We had a choice of beans for the side to go with rice and salad, and the beans were vegan, nice touch. The Wife was not impressed with the chicken however, considering it not very flavorful. I liked the window-side small tables, as long as you can deal with the engine revving on Grand Ave. To get to the bathroom, you have to walk into the rear, not well lit area. When we received the check, we were left guessing about whether she would return for it. Answer: no. Pay at the register. At least the Modelo wasn't on there. I'd go back, if The Wife wasn't with me, for those prawns again.

So filling for late night tacos!After doing some shopping around Bay Street, my friend and I were looking for something quick and nearby. Glad we found Los Cantaros!It was easy to find parking on the street on a Tuesday evening. The parking immediately in front of the store is for 1 hour only.We ordered 4 tacos (chicken, al pastor, and carne asada) and a plate of super nachos (chicken). Lucky for us, it was taco Tuesday and they take off $1 each taco. The tacos then were about $2. By themselves, they weren't super filling but the nachos took care of it. They were truly loaded with beans, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. AND they add those fillings in layers so you're not just getting the extras on the top, leaving you with dry chips on the bottom.Def check this spot out if you're craving tacos or nachos in the area.

Every time that I come here it's always clean and my food is always delicious! I always order the California surf and turf! Today I order the same thing and they had a special for a chimichanga burrito so I ordered that as well just to try something different. Can't wait to see how it taste. I'm sure it will be delicious. Taco Tuesday! I ordered the ensalada vera cruz (Caesar & lime dressing mixed), 2 brisket Mexico City Street tacos and 2 steak Mexico City Street tacos. My salad was amazing!! Everything tasted crisp and fresh, even the shrimp! My brisket tacos were well seasoned, moist and so good! I should've ordered all brisket. The steak tacos were good as well. I woke up thinking about my salad and wanting to return today for lunch!
