Little Louie's Cafe & Deli

I've lost count of how many times I've been here. It's one of my favorite delis in the Bay Area. Super great service, reasonable prices, quick, outdoor seating, great selection of hot and cold sandwiches, drinks, coffee, desserts. Everything is fantastic! I've never not once been satisfied here. Portions are huge and you won't leave hungry. My go-to's (with everything on it) are as follows: - Turbo Turkey - Turkey breast, Jalapeno, Hot Pepper Jack-Tony's (probably favorite) - Roast Beef, Salami, Swiss and Jack- Cal Swede - Turkey, Avocado and SwissCiabatta and Dutch Crunch are my favorite breads (Semifreddi's, fresh, every day!) Great staff, great spot. I haven't met a sandwich here I didn't like! You can't go wrong w/ Little Louie's.

I've been here twice and had very good experiences. Food is reasonably priced and tasty. Service was friendly and fast. It was busy both times with a bit of a buzz from the customer chatter. The menu has a lot of choices so I can't wait to come back and try more.

I was surprised at the texture of the Dutch crunch. We ordered a lot of food, the staff were helpful and the environment was super accessible. We enjoyed the trip. Great recommendation from a local.

I was having one of THOSE days when I was planning to get things done but didn't get to any of them because I was hamstrung by surprises like my automatic garage door suddenly not opening. I was hoping to try this sandwich shop before they closed at 3PM, but alas I had to wait for the repair guy before heading out. I made it here by 3:20 and noticed people still in the cafe.The manager was counting the change from the register, so I thought for sure I was too late. Instead of waving me off, she said they could still make cold sandwiches and that I could eat on the premises since it' would take them a while to clean the place. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, but they ran out. She asked if I wouldn't mind having the curry chicken salad.I sat outside in the terrace, and they brought me the $10.25 Curry Chicken Salad on Dutch Crunch. The addition of curry really enhanced the flavor, and frankly the whole experience saved my nuisance-riddled day. I wish this level of service was more common these days. This was a quaint little sandwich shop near a cool spot in Richmond CA. It's surrounded by train tracks. The sandwiches are decent enough but the line grows quickly at lunch time so definitely use mobile order. They have chips and bottled beverages along with deli style salads shown in a case by the register. Everyone there was friendly and they greeted us and took our order right away.

I came here for a post hiking brunch and was immediately impressed upon walking into this cafe. I wasn't sure how to order until I saw someone ordering at the counter. I looked over the menu and was disappointed that there weren't too many breakfast items so I ordered a burger and fries, which to my dismay were sold separately.I was with a group, we came at different times, and I was surprised how many had breakfast items. When I asked they said I had to request a breakfast menu. I was disappointed but figured I'd enjoy my experience.When the server brought out my "49er" burger I was surprised over how massive it was. It was flavorful, but difficult to manage because it was huge. What disappointed me the most were the fries. They looked undercooked and when I took a bite, it seemed like they were barely fried. After a couple more bites it seemed like they were blanched, slightly fried, and barely seasoned. There was no crunch at all and one seemed close to raw on the inside. I sent them back and asked that they bring me some that were fully cooked. Once the server brought them back they were crunchy and flavorful. The place is cute, but it's confusing. You order, find a seat, and when your food is done, the server walks around the restaurant calling out your name. We were outside and I heard someone calling me and just as I was going to go inside, she finally came out to bring my food. I think the process would go more smoothly if they handed out numbers.

HIDDEN GEM! Literally never misses, everything and anything I've had from this place from coffee to lunch has been great. The staff is friendly, welcoming and hardworking. I like to call to order ahead on my way to work to avoid the wait times.

If you're looking to get a quick bite around Point Richmond, this is the spot for you. They serve both breakfast and lunch. Excellent service and friendly staff! Highly recommend!
