Lemon Drop

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and we sat at the bar. It was Monday and it wasn't too busy. Bartender was GREAT! Loved watching them craft the drinks, especially the Tajin Bae. The Tajin Bae was delicious. My friend's cosmo was exactly what she wanted for her birthday. I also got a gin and tonic (made with a requested St. George's Terrior gin) later and they have a VERY extensive full bar. LOVE IT! They now have a very delicious food menu and the kitchen doesn't close until 11! We got the Tandoori Street Tacos trio of lamb, prawn and chicken, the Tikka Masala flatbread, tuna tartare, and hamburger. All so scrumptious and filling and the price not too bad for the portion size. The decor inside is so chic and inviting. They also have outdoor seating in front with electric fire pits. Very beautiful. The last time I came here was 2 years ago and it was SO different from what it is now. I love what this place has become and look forward to coming here with more friends.

Great lounge spot for date night or night on the town with friends. I loved this place! Had the feel of being in the club without the pain of standing around. Great music and great vibes all around. The drinks were pretty delish, even the nonalcoholic ones. And the food...chef's kiss! It was so good! I don't think I was expecting that but everything we got was delicious! My favorite was probably the popcorn chicken and the chicken taco. But everything was so yummy. Service was awesome and pretty attentive. I like that parking was convenient and not too cumbersome. One note is that it does get loud in here so this is not the place to have an intimate conversation. But this is the place you want to go if you want a night on the town with friends.

What a cute lil place!Came to Lemon Drop on a Saturday night for a drink. They have food options available as well if you're feeling like grabbing a snack. It's on the louder side, and it wasn't even full when we got there. I can see it getting really loud, but I love the music that they play. Hostess was nice. Drinks were ok. I'd come back to try other items!

This is definitely a lounge-y type of bar--moderately loud music and dim, moody lighting. Food here is great! We got the chicken wings and flatbread--both came out fresh from the kitchen piping hot. Drinks here are also pretty solid. Service was extremely attentive, I loved how the server frequently checked in on us. Only downside is I do feel like the place isn't as clean as I was hoping for. It did feel a bit grimey.

Lemon Drop is a cool little cocktail lounge located a few blocks from Park Street in downtown Alameda. My wife and I went a few times last month and enjoyed drinks and Indian food while the kids were in school. We really liked the Lemon Drop and I also liked Omashu's Hideaway. Berry Spritzy and Pepe were just ok in my opinion. The Indian food was also excellent. We had the samosas and tuna tartare.It wasn't busy on the weekday afternoons but while driving by during the evening hours it does appear to get busy at times. The bartender was nice and has good recommendations if you ask.

Lovely Sept weather had us sitting outside and enjoying happy hour drinks and happy hour food. The food comes fresh from an Indian restaurant next door. The vegetable samosas are so hot and FRESH. We ordered lemon pepper chicken wings which were quite tasty. We also enjoyed the flatbread pizza. The drinks were beautifully garnished with sliced ribbons of cucumber, dried blood orange slices. It was too nice to drink inside but... if you do want to feel like a Queen, move on up to the beautifully elevated space complete with couches and elegant backdrop.

This is my 6th time here. I love lemon dropsand i'm sure they make a great one, however, I cannot get away from the Sage The Gemini. Ok, I'm stepping out on a limb here but if there was a "feminine" bloody mary, this drink is it. It's weird but that's a compliment. Parking is typical Alameda street parking, they have indoor/outdoor seating that's great on a nice day. Also, an elevated seated area inside that's perfect for a birthday or feeling like Mac Dre. Service on drinks is definitely slower but honestly with the artistry and strength of the cocktails, you need it lol!

Stumbled across Lemon Drop because myself and my friends were trying desperately to escape the 90°+ hot weather/no AC life earlier in the year.Lemon Bar has a pretty classic cocktail lounge feel...with kitschy neon signs and lush velvet sofas, it's definitely a spot I could imagine having a birthday gathering/brunch party at. Their happy hour food and drinks menu offers a pretty diverse set of options and pulls some culinary inspiration from other countries (e.g. Butter Chicken flatbread pizza). Said pizza was extremely tasty and quite generous in size. The drinks themselves were good... nothing to write home about but also not bad. I wasn't sure if it was because of the insane heat wave or the fact that it was a Sunday night but it was pretty empty when we went. Ample seating and a chill vibe... definitely on a go-to list of solid, non-break the bank spots in the East Bay.

Wow, I wish I had an establishment like this in my town! I would gladly come back to Alameda to visit this bar. Once inside, the server took us all the way to the back and we got to sit underneath the warm neon logo sign elevated above the restaurant, amidst pillows and lovely couches. And what a great vantage point to people watch! The music was great, the cocktails were on point! I wish we got to try the food but that gives me another reason to come back!

1$ Oysters on Thursday's is the best. The sauce for the oysters tastes good. The lemon drop with tajin on the rim is my go to drink here. Waitresses are attentive and amazing.
