Lavender Bread & Cafe’

great product. great staff. great environment. great hours.When I need to concentrate on a few tasks but still want the pleasant light interactions with the masses, nothing beats this cafe for now. They have great 4barrell coffee with baristas that truly know how to prepare it and their baked goods are excellent and consistent. It's light and airy without being pretentious. Everyone gets a table to work at. Big props all around.

This corner café has lots of natural light and is great for reading. The coffee drinks are a little expensive but very good (and very caffeinated).I will say that even though the focus of the café is the bakery, the two baked goods I had were just okay. They had very good texture and a good bake, but hardly any flavor. The madeleine did not taste of vanilla, and the almond cookie with perfect size and texture did not taste of almonds. However, my (French) husband thought the pain au chocolate was excellent. Maybe it depends on the pastry. I haven't tried the bread.Really 3.5 but I am bumping it up to be fair because I can't speak to their full range of baked goods.

Dropped by here on a whim to pick up some pastries, but didn't stay. The inside looks new. There are plenty of tables. However, parking isn't abundant and the neighborhood can feel a little sketch at times.

Honestly, I just love their coffee! The iced americano is soooo delicious and rich. All of their specialty desserts are decadent and exquisite. I've always recieved really good customer service here as well.

This cafe has a lot of seating and the tables are pretty big. They have a variety of pastries, toasts, and sandwiches. I've tried a couple of their drinks, and the coffee is good. Some of the items are a little expensive. Their toasts are a good size. Last time I tried the Pecan Butter Toast (3.5/5). I was expecting it to be a little sweet, but it was fairly bland. They also have outlets, free wifi, and a bathroom!

Cute little place with sidewalk seating and a great pastry selection. Coffee selection is the basics and took longer than expected to receive 2 lattes. Lots of options in the pastry case and all looked very yummy. I got the apricot danish and it was very good, full of fruit. Decent variety of breakfast/toast options too. Sidewalk seating is nice for people watching. Lots of activity on a Sunday morning.

Big big fan of Lavender and their baked goods! Came in and it was nice to see that this location has seating available and plenty of plugs for people to work or study. This place is more on the pricer side though. Drinks:We got two hot lavender lattes to go! The lavender they use is not overwhelming but just enough, and I love seeing baristas take their time to perfect their craft! The latte art was so cute! Baked Goods & Treats: Favorite was the Almond Croissant it was simply delicious! Fresh , flaky, soft, and a really nice size! The chocolate croissant I would pass on personally. The kids cookies were also tasty!

I ordered, "A dry Cappuccino, with more foam than milk." I got a cup of hot milk, flavored with coffee. Nasty.If they don't know what a cappuccino is, or they can't make one, just take it off the menu.

I came to Berkeley to study with some friends, and they recommended this spot. For street parking, it was pretty easy to get one. I went around 10 am, which is prime study time but there were still plenty of seating. I didn't really need an outlet so I'm not too sure if they had plenty available. As for food and drinks, I got a lavender latte which was pretty good. My friend got the almond butter toast and another latte (not sure what she ordered). I know she wanted avocado toast, and for 10 am they said they had no more avocados. I thought that was pretty odd for them to not have any so early in the day. For my snack, I got their spinach and feta (not pictured), and there was barley stuffing in them, it was more of just the pastry itself which I thought was disappointing. Customer service was good overall.
