Great open atmosphere with great beer! Holy Ghost was perfect! No bitterness and smooth. Very friendly staff!

I had a mixed experience at this brewery. They close at 8 PM on Sundays, and we arrived around 7 PM. We saw the staff smoking outside the store, and when we went inside, there was no one at the counter. We had to wait a bit for the staff to return from smoking to take our order.As for the beer, it was decent. We sampled the Fereneries Altbier, Holy Ghost German-style Pilsner, Brother Vincent, and Beetilejicy Hazy IPA. Each had its unique flavor, but none particularly stood out.Overall, the experience was okay, but the service could definitely be improved.

Had a couple tastey brews here last night.Brother Star Dust is a hazy IPA with lot's of good flavor.And an IPA from row 1, column 2; it was good too.Eclectic music is here! Walked in yesterday around 1pm and there was a full on chamber music with seven member stringed instruments going on. Love it.Warehouse with high ceilings; very good customer service.Only con: no sandwiches or hot food.Could be sketchy at night time.

Fun brewery with great beer and a huge game selection. Flights of 5 were $18 and the beer selection was great. Lots of variety with something for just about any taste, and an even bigger selection if you're a lover of all things hazy. Aside for flights and pints, they also had cans of beer to go. I got a flight of 3 sours and 2 hazys - one of them being a milkshake hazy, something I'd never heard of before. Favorites were the playa Paloma sour and the sister Marsha hazy. Came on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of space. Tables were super long beer garden style tables and we ended up having one to ourselves the entirety of our stay. It's located in an industrial area, so you might think you're in the wrong place as you're approaching, but you have indeed found it. Parking was super easy since it was just a bunch of working warehouses. Definitely want to come back here and will be ordering laughing monk when I see it on a menu.

Laughing Monk is a great spot to chill with friends, or to meet new friends (like I did while there). It's located on a random, industrial-type street in SF. It's a wide, open space with super tall ceilings. I suggest ordering a flight of beers to sample some of their many, many options. From there, choose your favorite flavor and order a bigger pour. The beer here is fantastic.When I was there, the entire front was open, so the fresh air comes right in. That said, the temp outside may be the temp inside, so come prepared on a cool day with a warm hat and comfy jacket or sweatshirt. When I was there, a trivia game was going on, which a lot of people seemed to be enjoying.

The beer here is incredible. It's in a warehouse in the Bayview hunters point area of town. It's not that great of an area, but the brewery itself was clean and welcoming. Everyone there was knowledgeable and friendly. I would go back.It was dog and kid friendly, which is always a plus for some people.

One of the best breweries in the city. It's rare to find a place with great Belgians, but that is a good chunk of their menu. The space is comfortable, if a bit tricky to get to without a car. Bartenders are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're sick of the same old IPA scene.

Great beer selection, lovely and helpful bartender and Athletic NA beers available if that is it what you are looking for! We came on a Friday afternoon and it was really chill with good music playing. Definitely will be coming back for happy hour Tuesday through Thursday where beers are $6 or just in general!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite local breweries for sours! The peach kettle sour I ordered was so delicious that I ended up getting a 4-pack to bring back home.I also don't usually go for IPAs, but even the hazy IPA I tried a couple sips of was pretty good! The ambiance of this place could've been better though. I came here on a Friday evening, and it was fairly deserted. There's not much going on in this area surrounded by warehouses, so I prefer grabbing a 4-pack to go instead of staying here.
