Las Cabañas Food Truck

A friend of mine lives 150 feet from this truck conveniently.If you're looking for the ultimate taco experience, Las Cabanas in Richmond is the place to go! Every single taco was bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. The meat was tender, the toppings fresh, and the spices perfectly balanced. You can tell they put a lot of love and care into their food. Every bite was a delight, with all the flavors coming together seamlessly. These are some of the best tacos I've had in a long time. Well done, Las Cabanas--you've earned every bit of this five-star review! Can't wait to come back for more!

Was craving seafood last week and was looking around. I saw the food truck on yelp and decided to give it a try with the family. I ordered in person and the person attending me was kind and helped me with ordering. I ordered 2 fried fish, shrip cora and strawberry agua Fresca. They mentioned taking some time so I went to do some errands. When I came back 30 min later, they mentioned that the food would be ready in 20 minutes so I asked for the strawberry drink to wait. When she handed me the drink, it was white like milk. I let her know that I ordered the strawberry agua Fresca. She said oh okay and went back to the chef to let them know. She can back and let me know that it was strawberry agua Fresca, but they ran out of food coloring which is why it's white. I was so confused and I grabbed it. I wanted to try it and see if I didn't know that strawberry agua Fresca can be white. I tried it and it tasted like milk and salt. I didn't want to go back so I just threw it away. I looked at the menu to see if the strawberry was milk and not an Agua Fresca, but I saw nothing there. When I let them know that the drink was not strawberry, they just saying OK and that's it. At no point I receive a different drink or my money back.When I got the food, we got home and the food was pretty good. No issues on the food. If you do go , try the food. It's delicious. Just don't order the strawberry Agua Fresca, or you will be disappointed.

They would've been 5 stars, without a doubt, but they had one small but major mishap. My super burrito de carnitas wasn't well proportioned. The first half had nothing but sour cream & avocado. I was about 4-5 bites in when I finally hit the meat, and it was nothing but meat. You see what I'm saying? There was major lack of proper distribution of the burrito components. Anyway, flavor was fantastic. Also had a torta de al pastor which was 10/10. I'd come back but maybe not for a burrito. The cashier was friendly. Ambiance was quiet although on a busy corner. I went around noon time and receive my food pretty quick. About a 10 minute wait.

This was my first time coming here tonight. They have a $2 deal per taco on taco Tuesdays. I got the al pastor tacos and they were some of the best tacos I've ever had. They had great flavor, more than a lot of places I've been to. They also came with chips unlike some places that will charge you for them. The salsa was great too. There were two different green salsas, one more mild than the other and a red. They had the usual carrot/onion/jalapeño mix, lime, and some grilled veggies (onions and jalapeño) that I believe they use on the fajitas they serve there. I will definitely be coming here again!

This food truck is awesome! I've had burritos (carnitas) that were delicious. Tacos (asada) again, delicious (but may not be great for delivery orders as the kinda fell apart by the time they got here). Nachos that were the bomb!I would like it if they added chips with the order, but apparently, you have to order them w/salsa for $9 (no thank you). But the food is fantastic and delivery was quick. Definitely will be going back.
