Lakeside Swing

The venue is beautiful and quite large on the main floor, there is another dance floor on the 2nd floor. Women's bathrooms are on the 2nd floor. They offer free snacks and drinks in the hallway, outside of the dance. Parking can get full in the parking lot, so have to look for street parking, at that time, it is free. Place gets warm in the summer. Love the dance floor, fast and large. Mike Pyle's West Coast Swing dance, WCS is well attended, over 100 dancers attend.

Good music, nice large dance floor, great crowd, excellent instructors. Snacks in the other room if you want to take a break and socialize. It's a lot of fun!

This is by far one of the best floors to dance on in the bay area. Beautiful venue for West Coast Swing (any dance really, but 4th Sundays are for WCS) and Mike Pyle does a great job with the music. Entry is $10 and $4 more if you want to do the lesson - a bargain. It's very popular but thankfully the floor is large so you're not packed in like sardines. I only wish they had a late night burger joint next door......

Great dance floor, great crowd of swing dancers, all of the things that everyone has mentioned, Mike Pyle is a great DJ, plays a wide variety of music, plenty of seating around the perimeter of the floor to R&R and socialize. Also the snack room with goodies suppled by the lovely Chris. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon / evening before going back to the weekly grind. If you love to swing ya gotta go and check it out !
