LOVE this place! Very nice, friendly couple who own it. They have fresh fruit and veggies all the time. They carry basically everything you need from a bigger store. Lots of choices for condiments too. Their prices are a little higher than a chain store but I prefer going here bcuz it's usually not crowded, fresh good quality produce and friendly service. Not to mention supporting a small local business. Oh, their avocados are always ripe! They have a lot of vegan friendly items and milk alternatives. Just a little side note: they do take EBT

This is one of the best places to shop!Prices -- Very competitive with chains and large supermarkets for many items, especially produce.Variety -- They have those hard to find ingredients that are tough to locate.Convenient -- They have shorter hours than large, supermarkets but that's fine. It is a great alternative to having to stand in line elsewhere.Prepared foods -- Yes! These are available. Usually it is sliced fruit or spring rolls but that's really all you need.Friendly service -- Yes!

I love my Lakeshore produce store! It's 10min away from home and always good for last minute shopping on groceries before making lunch/dinner when it's too late/too far to go to Whole Foods or catching up on organic fruits and veggies if I miss my beloved farmers market on Grand.I usually come here for indian things like spices, curry leaves, small green chillies, fresh coriander leaves, lemons, limes etc but also for other regular veggies such as small persian cucumber, organic tomatoes, organic salad leaves, organic green onions etc etc. Occasionally/rarely buy dairy products like milk and eggs.But most of all, I love it's a family run shop where you get to meet the daughter, the mother and the uncle and they are always nice and friendly and helpful. Nothing better than supporting your local neighbours. Their prices are pretty affordable compared to big chains like whole foods.Have never tried their pad thai and spring rolls but always been tempted to :) Maybe one day!

Wonderful local market! Just came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with how affordable it is. (Ex: 2 things of berries for $5). The people working there were really nice and happy to know that their store is all the rage on Nextdoor right now :) Will definitely continue to buy my fruits and vegetables here from now on! Also, they now have an online delivery service!

It's obvious that the people who run this place put care into choosing what they stock. I'm delighted that my neighborhood corner store has great fresh produce, dairy alternatives & bulk bins

This place is great! They had the ingredient that so many other shops didnt: curry leaves! Plus galettes, coconut icecream, avacados for way less than whole foods and all kinds of fresh produce. Definitely going back.

Always friendly always fresh! This is one of those local places you want to help support. In addition to the fresh produce, there's a ton of healthy dry goods, a fridge section and tons of snacks!

Love this place. Small, family run business with a surprisingly well stocked store considering how small it is. Service is always friendly, the produce and other goods are all good quality and the prices are decent. I always try to support local small businesses and this is one of my favorites.

it's very small but it has a lot of things you look for, i went around all lakeshore looking for chipotle sauce. i went to so many stores and did not find any anywhere the nearest place w it was target but i had a time crunch then i came in here and they had the mexican kind, exactly what i was looking for. the service is also amazing and helpful.

I absolutely love this family owned produce market. People are nice. I gave 1 , because of the Shrimp rolls. I called the market and asked if the rolls were fresh. The wrap was hard, shrimp had NO taste and the sauce was in a puny container..just enough to dip 1 roll. The lady told me that the rolls were fresh and that they have a new person that makes the Rolls. She said that she would let the new roll maker to make the skin softer..?? The rolls cost $11. She never offered a refund.
