Super small liquor store in the Laurel District in Oakland. They situate it inside for one way in and one way out, so if there's more than 5 people in there at the same time, it's cramped. It's obvious why they do this (crime) but just too much for me. I came in here for some cool water on a hot day! It's right on the corner of 35th and MacArthur!!Friendly service though, that's always a good thing!!!

Love this liquor store. People here are polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. I've gotten some good wine and liquor here. The recommendation labels they have are also quite helpful. Definitely my go-to place.

Don't ignore the reviews about this place. They are right. The customer service is terrible. The cashier just got into an argument with customers before me, and even as rude to me after. DO NOT COME HERE.

Its alright...good selection. I agree with Mel. H in that, if its past sunset, don't go alone because the sketchy people in front. Its at a very convenient spot for sure.

Found the last 4 bottles of Anchor Steam beer since Anchor announced they were shutting down. Cashier told me he was going to charge double because they were probably the last 4 bottles we would ever see. Told him nope and walked out. Can't in good conscious ever return to that place. Hope the extra $10 they might make is worth pissing off their customers.

Good store for fast runs! I'm from SF and moved to Oakland about 3 years ago when I came across La Franchi's. All of the cashiers I encountered were funny, and always nice to me. There are sketchy people around, but sketchy folks are everywhere and the guys at the store always make me feel safe. Since I'm a regular, they tend to look out for me, even gave me a free pack of cigars for 420!!! If you're bougie this might not be the place for you, but for the real people in the real world, this is a cool little neighborhood corner store. P.SI see worse shit on BART, not everyone wants to rob you!!!!
