I order here all the time whenever I have guests! I recommend the largest size of pizza they have, they cut it up into squares rather than slices so it's very easy to eat at a party. La Val's also has coupons you can print online and get discounts on their pizzas :)

We've stopped trying. The counter help is so rude. The place is not kept in good repair so you only feel like taking out. Sometimes we like to eat at a place before going on other errands.A special is advertised in the local HOA publication but they would not honor it when we mentioned it. The special didn't state anything about bringing in the coupon. The counter help should be aware of what is out there being distributed. We get our pizza elsewhere and it makes me sad because I like having options available on Bay Farm. Instead, we'll go to the neighboring Mexican or Chinese place and walk on by.

I think this place is the only pizza on Bay Farm. I went here since I was a child and am still glad that it is still alive. In relativity to other pizza places you could get, it's not the best, BUT I will say that the nostalgia kicks in hard with this one. I just get the bbq chicken pizza. It's basically on a thin crust which they haven't changed. It kinda just tastes like bbq chicken on a flat bread, which I am not opposed to. I love that. It's just in terms of pizza, it's pretty average.

A little gem hiding behind the shopping center. We almost thought it was closed. Happily it was open. The owner, Sam was friendly and greeted us. The pizza was delicious, especially the thin, crispy crust. We had the La Val's Special and Ultimate Garlic Chicken pizza. They have beers on tap too. It family oriented and has an upstairs that can be reserved for larger groups.

This place is top notch with the pizza and gluten free options. Quick and easy for pickup or delivery to your local Bay Farm park. The kids love this pizza!

Gosh, I really hate this. La Val's has been my favorite pizza place anywhere. I have moved out of the area, but get a La Val's pizza every time that I am back. The last time, the Special (Which is my Favorite), Just seemed different. I don't know, I feel that it might be something in the crust or sauce. It seemed it used to have a slightly sweet garlicky flavor.Well, I ordered delivery. I decided to use La Val's delivery rather than one of the other services because I thought they would be more responsive. I literally live 1/2 of a mile from la Val's and the pizza showed up barely lukewarm. So disappointing. Again, there was something off about the special. We also ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza. I really couldn't find any BBQ sauce at all. I think they forgot it. That pizza was really pretty terrible.Last, it appears as though prices have gone way up. $36 for one large Special or BBQ chicken seems like a lot. Two pies and it's ouch!I really like this place. I really do! I hope the new owner reads the Yelp reveiws and listens to thheir customers. I would hate to lose them.

Over time they've improved the quality of the pizza. The delivery person is great and timely. I think I'll order a pie now.

As a kid/teenager, I used to go to the Berkeley one often. I didn't even know they had another location, until some coworkers suggested this place for an after-work get-together. Welp even back in those days their pizza never really left a strong impression on me. I remember it being fine, but I just think I liked the location better than the food. The spot had a 'basement' type of vibe as it was underneath the street level, with old school record shops above. As a teen, it just made me feel quite urban. Fast forward to now, their pizza is still just super average to me. Large La Val's Special ($32ish/3*) This is old school pizza, nothing fancy. I think it looked better than it tasted. The crust was pretty light on the bottom. Enough crispness that it doesn't droop and the outer edges nice and blistered. But there just wasn't any deep bread/yeasty flavor that when baked fresh, fills your head with aroma and satisfaction. So I tend to associate with these types of pizza crust as more cracker-like, versus bread-like. The sauce also didn't whack me in the head, so I really didn't pay much attention to it. I usually do. The toppings were quite generous though and is actually the redeeming factor to their pizza.Half and Half Pasta Plate ($13/2*) Half spaghetti and half raviolis. Since I wanted something else besides pizza for our outing for 4 peeps, I also tried one of their pasta dishes. Whoa, it was something straight out of the 70's. Barely warm pasta topped with just enough sauce to get it down. The sauce wasn't half bad as it was quite chunky and quite standard in taste, which is a good thing. Now if the whole dish just would have been properly warmed up, then this would have more potential. But who wants to down cool and starchy pasta, amirite?! Not good nomzz. I do have to commend their garlic bread though. Nice chewy bread, very ciabatta like with nice nooks and crannies to soak up that garlicky oil. I would order these as is or if they made a sandwich with it. Spanakopita ($10/4*) A classic Greek savory cheese-y pastry. This actually wasn't bad and actually came out warm. Super crisp and golden phyllo dough stuffed with feta cheese and spinach. A little dry but nice crisp bites. I'm sure it is not a traditional way to eat these, but I dunked some of mine in ranch dressing. Worked well. Pitcher of Beer ($20/4*) We were able to score on a local brew (Drake's) for a pretty decent price. We got an extra round. Place is seriously old school and seems they attract and target local little league teams. I was actually surprised that there weren't any TVs in there, as most pizza joints I know these days do. Can't say I would want to come back anytime soon, but I was glad that I tried them again, this time as an adult. I would come back for beers and if someone else paid for the pizza. Lol

I'll start off with the ambiance, it is a nice view of the water, and a few ducks running around. Cute for the little ones while they wait for their pizza. We usually got it to-go. However, inside it is pretty cozy. The pizza tastes like it has goat cheese, very pungent in my opinion, different than any other pizza I have had before. It was also very pricey for a pizza place (locally owned). Well, I guess it is just pricey in general. To be "honest" my family would have rather had another well-know pizza place, but we were not the deciding factor. My late dad's wife would drag us here.Like I said the outside is really cute and a great place for the littles to run around with ducks and a dog. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend the overpriced weird pizza.
