La Strada, you will always have a piece of my heart. Wonderful staff, old school Italian menu and interior vibes, and just really good quality food with affordable pricing so close to home. This spot has been home to family nights, date nights, meeting with the girls, and host to holidays and a slew of other functions. Such great memories made and still more to come; bringing Lorenzo here for the first time during a night where La Strada was rolling back prices to when they first opened (1996) was incredible. My parents always order the Veal Marsala with creamy polenta, hard to find at most joints, but done to perfection as they say here. I went with the Fettuccine Alfredo, my husband the Chicken Cordon-Bleu, and the house wine. The bread is delicious to dip in olive oil, Caesar to start always. Finished with dessert drinks and tiramisu. Typical order, but this is the place for your go-to and favorite comforting dishes that feel like home. There's something about a spot that still has a solid following, regulars, walls filled with memories, and great humans that run the business day in and day out. These spots are starting to become few and far between, but La Strada has and will always be so a prominent force in our East Bay community. Other dishes to note: the Lasanga Di Carne, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Calamari Fritti. Truly can't go wrong, cheers to the experience!

I came here with my coworkers for our group lunch. We had high expectations but were left disappointed. I ordered the pink lemonade and Fettuccine Carciofi with chicken, which is a fettuccine dish consisting of artichoke hearts, tomato, mushroom, basil and roasted garlic. The lemonade was good but the pasta was terrible. Not only did it lack flavor but it was filled with oil and so greasy. The atmosphere was just what we needed. They have it decorated for Christmas.

I'm an out of town local who attended a birthday gathering for my husband's uncle this past Saturday and now I will be coming back again and again! The atmosphere was very nice, great lighting and very beautiful Victorian style artwork and structural pieces. We were a bit of a larger group, but the service was still absolutely amazing. They opened our bottles and served them, complete with ice buckets for the champagne (maybe this is typical and I just had a little culture shock, I'm not a frequent flyer of fancy stuff). We brought cakes for the birthday man and forgot candles, but no worries, they were accommodating enough to provide a few, bring the cakes out lit, and slice and serve both cakes for everyone there. The food was excellent, I had fresh tomato bruschetta, delicious Caesar salad, and delightful chicken Parmesan with polenta. We were here for 4 and a half hours and not once did I feel rushed or like we were burdening the staff. 5 stars for hospitality, ambiance, and food. We will definitely be back!

I can't say anything bad about La Strada. Olivia, Carlos, the entire staff are amazing. The location is always super clean, no dust, organized, clean. It's a been a go to spot for my team for the past 18 months. Way too good to be overlooked.

Came in with coworkers for a nice outside of work get together. It was very crowded on this Friday night. Luckily we had reservations. The restaurant is quite large. And it also has a private banquet area downstairs for parties. They have great food. I had the Cioppino and it was excellent. The food came to the table piping hot with lots of different shellfish and a delicious broth. Other people told me that they loved the veal, the lamb chops, and the steak. The service was great. They were friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back.

We got take out tonight at our goto Italian spot.... I got the Rib Eye which was a decent size with sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes which were really creamy. My partner loves their veil piccata but said the portions lately seem like they are getting smaller... it also appears as thought they are under new management as he said a woman's name is on the business cards for the restaurant. Parking is always a challenge but you'll eventually find a spot if you can wait long enough.

Came here on a date and enjoyed our meal!Sampler: 10/10. Everything was delicious and it looked so pretty. Fettucine Carciofi, and added chicken: 8/10. It's super filling and tasty.Fettucine Alfredo w/ chicken: 9/10. My date said it was amazing. I had a small taste and the sauce was in fact amazing. They also give you focaccia bread with garlic infused olive oil that is to die for. I would literally come back just for that alone!!Our waiter Albano was amazing! He was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and was always available without being too intrusive.Don't let the place deter you. It's in a shopping plaza, but some of the best places are in nondescript places ;)Highly recommend!Plenty of parking.

Today is our girls' lunch. Three generations... to see Mom/Grandma and Auntie). Grateful to be able to spend time together! We have dined at this restaurant whenever we visited my mom and sister. Even during the pandemic, we ate outdoor. I called the restaurant to notify that we maybe late like 10-15 minutes (12:30 pm reservation). I was instructed that it was fine. We were sat down by Olive and she was also our server. This restaurant has been in the neighborhood of my mom's for a very long time. It's like a comfort Italian food. The dining room has the Christmas tree and decors. We did not have any drinks but coffee for my sister and daughter. We ordered the Antipasto Sampler (Bruschetta, Mozzarella Caprese & Calamari Fritti. It was a perfect size of plate for everyone and delicious. We had Minestrone for soup, Beet Salad no cheese with chicken, Chicken Cordon-Bleu, Salmone, and two orders of the special Lobster Ravioli. Eating the lobster ravioli made me full quickly and it tasted good. Overall the food was delectable although my mom did not finish her Salmon fish (small eater). My sister took the salmon fish to go. Olive was so pleasant and her service was superb. She did not mind taking our group pictures. Actually she remembered my mom dining at the restaurant in the past because we always sat on the same corner table since she's on a wheelchair. We passed on the dessert. I recommend this restaurant due to excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food. With my dining experience, the price is comparable to other restaurants. Will be back.
