Pork quesadilla or huitlacoche "corn mushroom" it is the best, also the Barbacoa broth with cilantro and chopped onions make you travel thru the best of Mexico;

Great service. The restruant is brightly lit and clean. It is a happy place, not elegant or fancy. The food was good. There are a lot of options. The chips were warm but not made in house. The salsas were mild, not spicy. The burritos were very large. We all took home 1/2 of our orders. I chose carnitas. The pork seemed more like it had been grilled rather than the pulled pork I am used to.

I have bee to La gran Chiquita for a few years, and I can tell the is a hidden gem. Maybe not the best outlook, but the food tests like real home made. The waitress who has only a few moths working there, she was so attentive all the time, she came back a few time to check on us. I recommend the barbacoa and the the menudo, which both are made from lamb, and last but not the least,the tortillas. They are made as upon request. If you around Richmond, you'd like to try authentic home made Mexican food, go to La gran Chiquita

Really great food, generous portions, and friendly service. Got the barbacoa flautas and the caldo de 7 mares; both were delicious. Nice salsa bar as well. The pambazo here lacked major flavor. It had barely any chorizo inside and was topped with so much lettuce that I i didn't taste much of anything else. There's also a salsa bar here. The size of this location is much bigger than the one in Oakland, but I prefer the one on East 14th..they have a taquero there that hooks up some bomb ass tacos.Go to that location.

I love the food here! I got a quesadilla and the tortilla made the dish perfect. I can tell it's a family run place which I'm always looking for and the staff were all very kind and accommodating to me and my group of friends. Will definitely come back!

Hola el día hoy fuimos a comer eramos un grupo grande. y mi hija pidió un burrito mojado y la mesera tubo el descaro de traerle un burrito que ya se lo abia dado a otro cliente que el mismo lo abia cortado y los mismos cubiertos sucios que asco ,se imaginan que no hacen cuando uno no los ve

Muy caro y la comida no vale la pena. Primera vez y ultima las gorditas mega grazosas y el munedo sin sabor
