La Casa de Maria, a culinary haven seamlessly blending warmth in service with an exquisite array of flavors, left an indelible mark on my palate. From the geniality of the order attendant to the cashier's elucidation of the menu accompanied by thoughtful samples, the hospitality mirrored the excellence that followed.Embarking on a flavor journey, the Cucumber Melon Agua Fresca was an ambrosial prelude. With diced cucumber and enigmatic green flakes, each sip resonated as a sweet symphony with intermittent sour notes, creating a culinary crescendo. A complimentary Agua Fresca, a benevolent gift, later metamorphosed into an alchemical blend with Clase Azul over ice, transcending mere refreshment. The Lamb Tacos emerged as a carnivorous sonnet, their tenderness and succulence speaking of meticulous hours invested. A sublime stickiness enveloped the meat, rendering it soft, an orchestration of rendered fat and tenderized cartilage. Accompanied by an ensemble of five sauces, ascending the heat spectrum, the chips became a canvas for a sensorial adventure, each condiment a distinct gustatory revelation. The tortillas, robust and homemade, bestowed a textural richness seldom found in the Bay Area--an artisanal touch that elevated the dining experience. The cashier's sweetness extended beyond mere transaction; a gratuitous gesture of two complimentary lamb tacos bespoke a commitment to culinary excellence. My return for a pound and a half of the lamb underscored its undeniable allure--every morsel a testament to La Casa de Maria's culinary prowess. This establishment, a synthesis of affability and culinary ingenuity, stands as a dining destination, one that I enthusiastically recommend to fellow epicureans. La Casa de Maria is not just a place to dine; it's a culinary odyssey, and I eagerly anticipate my return.

I always pass by this place on my commute to and from work so I finally decided to give it a try and wasn't disappointed! I ordered a burrito de asada and it has to be one of the best if not the best burrito I've had in Oakland. The asada flavor was amazing and the chips with the different types of salsas were the best compliments. I've recommended this place to others ever since. I will be definitely coming back.

Food was great I had the Burrito for $7.50 and it was one of the best burritos I have had. The service was great very friendly and generous. The Strawberry n Cream drink is the best I've ever had. I recommend this place to everyone now

Came to see what's the hype about . We got the birria tacos and quesadillas. They were alright but there drinks are really good . 10/10 the place is clean with outside seating and inside too . Parking sucks but the server was really nice and always checking up on us . Just keep in mind that the proportions are big .

Waited about an hour for a burrito to go while watching everyone behind me get their food on time. The whole time that we sat there waiting for the food, nobody ever stopped by to see how we were doing but the other tables were serviced. Got complimentary chips but only after asking. I didn't want to chalk it up to race initially but there was another black man that I saw order in person then come back after the estimated 15 minutes for a burrito. They got amnesia when it came to his order too. Possibly an issue with to-go orders in person.

Memo and Santiago gave incredible service. The food was absolutely delicious and soooo reasonable. The energy was super welcoming and everything on the menu was tempting to try. They have sooooo many options to choose from. I've been here 3 times this week just to try different things and everything has been amazing. My favorite so far are the quesabirrias, I HIGHLY recommend this small family of color owned business and will definitely be coming back. This is my new favorite spot

I was very impressed with this restaurant. It appears that the room is only for taking orders, drinks, seating, etc., while the adjoining truck does the actual cooking.Ordered 2 barbacoa tacos. At $7 a piece I thought they were pretty expensive, but then they came, and were huge! Two super large homemade corn tortillas stuffed with cooked lamb. Served with three kinds of salsa, chips, and all the lime/cilantro/onions you could want. It was delicious! I will mention that the lamb did have a few pieces of bone in them, so be careful, but it was so darn tasty I can't take off a star.If I had one suggestion that could take it over the top, it would be making their chips in-house. When you get those amazing tortillas you want the whole thing to be homemade. I will be back.

Food take way too long even when I order online. Food is mediocre. People seem like they are tired or their jobs they look so unpleasant. Place looks dirty. I'm not sure if I'll be coming to this place again.
