When I ate at La Burrita while attending the University of California, Berkeley for graduate studies a number of years ago, I appreciated the proximity of this Euclid Ave location to the building my office was in (McCone Hall). Some of my comrades thought the food a little bland, however, I found with the pickled vegetables and salsas the food was more flavorful.Workers were helpful and professional in my experiences. Depending on the time of day, the inside could be packed or have a number of tables open. Chips tended to be fresh and crispy. The interior was cleanly, though could show the wear from traffic if coming in after meal times.

Generous portions for the price. Flavor was great. We tried a variety of items from burritos, nachos, tacos and more. It is super packed inside with little seating so most like have to eat somewhere else. Their signature burritos take 10-15+ minutes to prepare but overall, staff were super nice. Good experience.

One of the few places open on this street during the holidays. Ordered a regular chicken quesadilla and two beef taco plates with Horchata. The food was enjoyable for the kids, the horchata was watery and didn't have much flavor. The food came out quickly, parking was easy to find and metered, the restaurant and bathroom were both clean.

For the prices and the portion sizes, I have to say that La Burrita is not bad ! The service was good, as they got my order out fairly quickly and the flavor was definitely there. However, the way in which they react to a customer saying they're picking up the orders is... questionable. The ambiance itself is nice. A fairly homey mexican restaurant with many different people ordering and everything relatively clean. I definitely recommend trying the salsas they have on the side.I got the Super Nachos and Quesabirria tacos from here. The Nachos were good, but the cheese drowned the top layer and made the chips too soggy. Along with that, it was pretty greasy from the carne asada on them. The Quesabirria tacos were full of flavor, but the consome that comes with it was a little too salty for my taste. Also, it does not compare with the birria that my dad makes !! But out of all the quesabirria tacos I've had, I would rank it #3. All in all, I have to say, not bad. The pricing reminds me of home and so does the flavor. Thank you La Burrita!

I usually try their regular (classic) Burritos, and they are not bad. they have a good selections of Mexican Pickled Vegetables (Escabeche) and Salsa. They have a nice and cozy patio outside. But one thing to be aware of is that they have a separate 3% service charge which I couldn't see they disclose it anywhere in there, and according to my chat with Gemini and ChatGPT: "... restaurants can continue to charge service fees, such as a 3% surcharge, as long as they ensure these fees are transparently disclosed to patrons before any transaction is completed... this means that any additional charges cannot be surprises that only appear when the bill arrives; they must be included in the listed prices or clearly communicated upfront". And I was surprised when I got the receipt after I ordered and paid!!.

It's expensive and pretty mediocre Mexican food. Expect to pay around $5-6/taco all-in (tax/tip) for quite a paltry amount of mediocre and often very dry meat. If you're in the area and feeling like having some tacos, your best bet is simply to go elsewhere. If you're really desperate and aren't price sensitive, I'd say head across the street to El Talpense, which is slightly better, though more expensive.

My wife and I ordered an enchilada dinner and a burrito here recently. We got it delivered by doordash, and together with tip that came out to nearly $40... crazy times. The enchilada plate was food, but pretty small, with only small sides of rice and beans and the beans were pretty bland. My burrito was very small for $14. I'm talking something like a medium tortilla sized ordeal here. Really underwhelming. The saddest part was when I cut into it... it was probably 30% by volume sour cream. No joke. The majority of this burritos filling was rice and sour cream. I have no idea why. I had selected chicken asada as the meat, but they must have misread that as "fillt his thing with sour cream"... or something like that. With all that sour cream there wasn't really anything else to taste, it was just bland and mealy. This place may be better in person where they aren't just shipping it out the door, but this experience was not very good.TL;DR: Bland and expensive... and way too much sour cream!

$15 for one of the worst burritos I've had in California. Unenthusiastic service as well, wish I had looked this place up before I stumbled in.

Honestly giving up on this place because why do they miss something in my burrito every time I go??? Yesterday it was no guac and that's actually unacceptable for $14

I thought the quesadilla tasted delicious (well-seasoned, a lot of cheese, nice helping of guacamole, sour cream, and salsa). It did cost ~$12 though, but it's pretty big in size.
