Opted to order from this place via Doordash and I'm totally impressed! Flavor did not lack and everything tasted so fresh. Ordered the Sio Mai, Steamed Char Siu buns, Deep Fried Shrimp Ball, and Portuguese Egg Tarts. There was a long delivery, however I assume everything is made to order so I didn't mind. Can't wait to comeback and try the spare ribs & chicken feet.

A large selection of dim sum ordered a la carte via their online ordering system and brought to your table for shared consumption with your party. Reasonable prices for a wide variety of items, surely to satisfy your craving without the noise and crowd levels from typical dim sum dining halls. It might make you sing!Everybody was kung fu eating!Placing orders as fast as lightning. In fact, my waistband was tighteningAs we ordered another set of dumplings. In this inconspicuous strip mall hosting a few shops I've rarely visited or looked for, Kung Fu Dim Sum shines bright in the Yelp searches as a niche dim sum shop serving the tri-city. With dine in and take out options, local patrons frequent this place to share an affordable, filling, and delicious meal fit for any taste preferences. The place isn't too big but small to medium sized parties should have no trouble getting a spot as it isn't too packed with dine in service. When you are seated, they serve you tea and provide a large placard of a menu for you to peruse. Orders can be made online via the QR code available at the table but you may also be able to order directly with the staff. The menu is quite extensive as it includes all the major favorites from dumplings to buns and noodle/rice dishes. We ordered some of our favorites and many of them were great with only a couple missing the mark slightly.Siu Mai - these were delicious and meaty; a favorite of the table! Shrimp noodle rolls - these rolls are loaded with big shrimp and are filling! Glutinous rice in banana leaf - a good mix of protein and rice all encased to keep things piping hot. Tripe - a bit of a kick but texture was a bit lacking for meBBQ pork buns - delicious but I like a fluffier exterior for my pork bunsEgg tarts - flaky crust but custard center was a bit coldIt's very likely some of the items are pre-made, frozen beforehand, and reheated to fulfill the orders but at the price point, amount/variety of food you get, and speed at which your order is fulfilled, it's a fair trade.Overall, if you're looking for a quick dim sum fix at a decent price and aren't looking to get jammed up with the crowds at other restaurants, this lowkey shop will have you kicking and fist bumping for joy with their wide selection of items. Kung Fu Dim Sum is definitely a hole in a wall due to its location but not for the locals in the know as it's a frequented spot during lunch.

Our go to dim sum spot nearby our house. We usually like going to HL peninsula or Sifu Wong which are more of a fancy experience. I love Kung Fu because each dish is delicious and the price is reasonable. We ordered 4 dishes for less than $34. The service is great too even though there aren't many employees and a smaller place. We have ordered delivery and the quality is just as good still. We are now regulars! Favorites: - Golden sands seafood roll (deep fried shrimp wrapped in rice roll) SO GOOD!! - golden shrimp: deep fried shrimp ball- sui Mai mushroom and pork - fried pork ball Least: - custard bun - beef roll

I was craving dim sum one day, and I found this spot that had the order through the Yelp app function. I ordered har gow and bbq pork rice noodle rolls. Upon walking in, I was greeted by an employee. Picking up was easy. I asked for a pair of chopsticks, and he gave me a pair even though there was a fork inside. I just personally prefer chopsticks. :)The har gow was pretty yummy. The bbq pork rice noodle rolls were pretty good too. If it had cilantro and onions in it, then it would be even better. Overall, I would definitely come here again to get some dim sum take out whenever I'm craving. I like the name of the place, Kung Fu Dim Sum. Cute! :)

Being an adult means having dim sum for dinner! We always order take out from this place - for weekend dim sum and weeknight dinners. It's easy and fast to order on the their website. Delicious classic dim sum items like ha gow 蝦餃 , siu mai 燒賣, rice noodle shrimp 蝦腸,chicken feet 鳳爪. But my favorite is their egg tarts 蛋撻! They also have other entrees like noodles, fried rice, etc. Compared to larger dim sum restaurants, I definitely prefer this mom and pop shop. The lady at the register has always been very kind & friendly. I haven't eaten inside but often there are folks dining at the tables. Save your time and money - instead of waiting in line at the larger restaurants, order here to go and eat yummy dim sum in the comfort of your own home. I rarely give Yelp reviews to restaurants but this is one that I hope will be around for a long time.

I was excited to find 7 types of congee on the menu! It was really what I needed. It came in a big bowl with pork & preserved egg. I liked the consistency of the congee. The scallop & shrimp dumpling was pretty! It was flavorful & didn't need sauce Dine-in ordering is thru a QR code. It's simple & fast. While I was ordering, the server offered tea or water. She was friendly. Dining room is very simple but clean. Tables for 4 neatly frame the room. These can be moved for bigger parties. I liked my food & may come back again

Kung Fu Dim Sum is a hole-in-the- wall place. There is a small parking lot in a strip mall with other businesses. They have about 6 small tables. One kiosk to order "To Go only". Otherwise, you order at the table via QR Code.We visited on a Sunday afternoon. The simple decor is old school. No frills. No A/C or fans, so today was 96°. It was warm inside as well. One restroom for this small place. The food prices are reasonable. Steamed Chicken Feet (4/5). Flavorful and the skin/cartilage came right off the bone.Shrimp Noodle Roll (4/5). Pretty big shrimp in the rolls. The sweetened soy sauce was good and what you would expect.Seafood Siu Mai (4/5). Different, in a good way. It had shrimp, tiny bit of scallop and possible fish paste as a binder.Scallop Seafood Dumplings (4/5). Decent, scallop and shrimp inside with tobiko.Fried Pork Puff (4/5). Crisp outside and thicker mochi surrounding the filling. My wife said there was too much green onions in it. LOL. She hates green onions, cilantro, parsley, etc.Sticky Rice Chicken (4/5). Small pieces, but it had the seasoned meat with salted egg, and lap cheung. Hong Kong Style Milk Tea (Iced) - Good but it was so warm outside & in the restaurant, my drink seemed warm. Support your local business!

I think they make their own dumplings, but overall, the food here is pretty greasy including the siumai, wonton noodle soup, and pan fried chive and shrimp dumplings.I was disappointed that the noodles in the wonton noodle soup were not egg or rice noodles. The soup ended up tasting like flour, unfortunately. The ordering system is all digital as well. Parking lot available.

We usually go to Golden Bay in Union City for dim sum, but we didn't want to brave the line at noon on a Sunday, so we decided to check out Kung Fu Dim Sum. It was much more of a hole-in-the-wall mom and pop shop than I anticipated, but definitely a worthy alternative to the bustling dim sum restaurants if you're trying to avoid the crowds.Rating Breakdown:1.5/2 Stars for Taste --We ordered all the classics so we could make a fair comparison -- steamed shrimp rolls, shaomai, shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, and fried pork glutinous rice dumplings. My favorite was the glutinous rice dumplings, the outside was crispy and the pork filling had a subtle sweetness that was very satisfying. The shaomai was less "bouncy" than other places, but I'm not sure if that's a sign of less filler, nonetheless they were still juicy and succulent. I was impressed with the shrimp dumpling, I'm usually not a fan but order them to humor my husband. The shrimp, water chestnut, and ginger filling had a great seasoning that I actually really enjoyed. The shrimp rolls came with big shrimp, the soy seasoning was a little less sweet than I'm accustomed to, but was still tasty. The only thing I thought was noticeably not as good as a classic dim sum place was the chicken feet, the flavor just didn't quite hit. We also tried their scallop and shrimp steamed dumpling, which was very good, especially for the price. Even though this place seems to be known more for their take-out, the quality of the dine-in was excellent, not the mushy over-steamed takeout that I usually find at the typical dim sum express/take-out places. 0.5/1 Stars for Value --The dishes range from $5-$7.50, which did give me pause because it is comparable to restaurants like Golden Bay and Golden Sun. Feels a bit audacious for them to charge banquet hall dim sum prices at this tiny hole in the wall. However, the quality/portion sizes of the food was on par, not to mention they didn't charge a tea fee (a kettle with 1 Lipton bag) per person and there was no forced tip. In the end, we got 6 dishes for about $45 including tax and tip. 1/1 Stars for Customer Service --You scan a code at the table and order on your phone. Food came out in about 10-15 minutes and it was obvious it came straight from the steamer. It looks like there is one server managing the front and maybe one person manning the kitchen in the back, so I can see how the wait can get a bit long if the place was more busy. Bonus star because I would be back, especially since they offer dim sum during more hours of the day. Also, they have an offer for 25% off orders over $50 on weekdays, which sounds very tempting!

Quick and friendly service in a casual dining atmosphere. Prices are fair. It's a good place to go if you're craving dim sum for dinner while most restaurants serve dim sum only during lunch hours.
