Tasty snacks - check! The flavors are popping. Serving sizes are exactly what we should be eating. And living the variety offered. Wasn't expecting quite as much as there was so it was hard to choose, but I went with some spam musubi, a braised, pork taco and a braised pork bowl. Light bite dinner and lunch tomorrow.Huge fan of the spam comes with making an avocado, which was a nice surprise. I didn't read the details of the menu so it felt extra fancy. Braised pork taco was a little oily and I wish there was just a smidge more spice to it had some bites with flavor and some kind of lacking and the pork bowl was a nice size and comes with wider brown rice and the kimchi mixture. I put a couple dabs of hot sauce on it and took a few bites and for me that made it. It was good by itself too. I just needed a kick of spice tonight.Definitely looking forward to checking them out again and exploring more of the menu options .

I placed an order on Yelp for pickup while I was in the area. I got distracted at the Sleep Number store across the street from them so by the time I went in for my order it was ready to go at their online order pick up location. I ordered two appetizers the Kamikaze Fries & Spam Musubi for myself. The Kamikaze Fries were as delicious as they looked in the pictures. Of course in the beginning there was a lot of crunch but towards the end they got a little soggy. Nothing they can do about that. The flavor was definitely there. The Spam Musubi was exactly what I needed that day. Comfort delicious flavorful food.My husband got the Short Rib Bowl with white rice. He really liked the short rib seasoning with the white rice was perfect. He did not care for the salad that comes with it, little too much for his liking but still satisfying. I tried the Kimchi it comes with it and that was really well seasoned. Overall we liked this location and super glad its close to home.

We came here on a weekend night and surprisingly it wasn't busy at all. The interior was clean and we got our food pretty quickly. This is a nice quick Korean fusion restaurant. I got the short rib bowl with kamikaze fries. There's a good meat to rice ratio in my opinion and the meats are seasoned well! Fries were crispy and flavorful as well.

Flavor of beef bowl and original koja were good. I was excited to try the kamikaze fries because pictures on Yelp make them look delicious but to me they were just okay. Good flavor but not sure I'd seek this place out again for another try. Ordered: beef bowl (add egg and extra kimchi), original koja, and kamikaze fries

I love coming here. The food always hits the spot. My favorite is the Ahi Tuna Bowl. It's a lot of food and everything always tastes great. Also, no matter how busy they get, the food always looks presentable. They have plenty of seating inside and outside. They do have limited vegetarian options but I never get tired of their Ahi Tuna bowl.

I really wanted to like this place. But I just felt it was overpriced dishes which tasted average and sub par quantity. The tables were sticky and dusty.

Are jalapeños part of KK's kimchi recipe?!?! Typically, I enjoy coming for lunch but this was a very unpleasant surprise.

Whenever I need just something comforting and filling, I tend to go towards something with rice. So when I asked my mom what she wanted to eat, she said anything...ugh which just means, get something not spicy. I know I was gambling here because I know Korean/Asian fusion can tend to lean toward spicy, but lucky for me and my mom, she said the kim chi here was something she could handle. Phew.In short, relatively quick to get the food and yes, they do cook to order which is nice. Lots of flavor in the meat but with rice that can be hit or miss.L O C A T I O NKoja Kitchen is located in the Pacific Commons area in Fremont, kind of in the back with the row of parking along the street. Parking can be hit or miss, but there's larger parking lots at Dick's or across the street with Target.I N S I D E Plenty of seating inside as well as outside.M E N UAll Koja Kitchen have the same menu. You can get a bowl, rice patty with your choice of meat: BBQ short rib, BBQ beef, BBQ chicken, crispy chicken, braised pork, ahi tuna, and their non-meat choice soy and portobello mushroom patty. If you're not into the rice patty, you can also get a normal bun. Also if you're not super hungry, you can get it taco style. They also have a few other smaller items like fries, musubis and chicken wings. This time around, the rice was kind of mushy which is a bummer, but hey it's okay. I typically get the braised pork because it's with coconut milk....drool. I had my mom try the short rib and the braised pork and she did like the braised pork more. The kim chi that comes with the bowls is more pickled tasting than spicy so it's not super spicy. From my mom who cannot handle her spicy food. This was something she could handle. But if you're not sure, you can always ask for it on the side.S E R V I C EWe ordered to go. It was pretty easy to order. Got a little pager thing. Once it starts to buzz, you pick up your food. Easily paid by card.O V E R A L LLike I said, comfort meal for me. How the rice is cooked is hit or miss. But overall, still a good option for a filling meal. Can be spicy so just be aware of your tolerance. Definitely try the braised pork if you like ginataang (filipino coconut braised food) as it's basically that flavor profile. But try the other meats to figure out what you like! Try them out!
