A dependable go-to for dim sum and Chinese food, featuring Cantonese cuisine in a convenient location. King Wah is in a prime location across from the Outlets, with many competitors within a 10 minute-drive radius. The dim sum selection is extensive all week. Quality is dependable-- Maybe not the absolute best, but it is always consistent and decently priced-two things that I can't say about many other spots. Service is professional, not friendly, but I usually order to go so it hasn't tainted my experience.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty so service was pretty quick. Some of the items we got:- Lobster with ginger and scallion: too cornstarch-y and could use more flavor- Honey walnut shrimp: was decent, but could be crispier- Salt and pepper pork chops: no flavor- Some fish with vegetable dish: it was alright. Not too much flavor, but it didn't need that much flavor- Fish in a clay pot: this one was nice and flavorful- Tofu: pretty good. Tofu was silky. - Noodles: chewy, but blandOverall, service was decent, but food was just alright. Most of the food needed more flavor.

Lively dim sum location with moderate prices.XS $5.35S $5.95M $6.95L $7.95SP $8.95K $11Q $12We ordered 5 dishes:1.BBQ Pork Noodle was loaded with plenty of BBQ pork & was only missing the vegetables that was pictured on the menu2.Beef Flat Noodle Stir Fry- meat was semi tender & not a lot of noodles, there seemed to be more mung bean than anything, but flavor was on point3.Chicken Feet- so good, tender, flavorful & satisfying4.Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf- was a little mushy but had a beautiful golden yoke to give it that rich taste5. Baked BBQ Pork Bun- a little on the smaller size & nothing to rave about, so I wouldn't order it again.Pricing is a bit high, but the atmosphere is great

This is a very popular restaurant which serves Dim Sum.We came during non peak times a few times, to avoid the wait. The Lobster with e-Fu noodles is our favorite. It has a whole lobster on a bed of e-Fu noodles, which are lucky noodles with a very distinctive taste.Chinese Broccoli with Beef is our second go-to. Chinese Broccoli (Gai Lan) is rich in flavor and is a dark green leafy vegetable. Not just your boring American Broccoli Beef. The ambience is elegant with very nice tall backed chairs, tablecloths and high ceilings. The wait staff takes pride in their work, being very professional.I must come here whenever I am traveling through Dublin.

We originally planned to go to Fiery Shanghai but made the huge mistake of walking into KW Restaurant instead. Although we were seated immediately, things quickly went downhill.Seated at Table 44, we hadn't even ordered yet, and the service was already horrendous. We were given a menu that also served as an order sheet. Since it was our first time at the restaurant, we took some time to review the offerings. When I asked the server what was in the Steamed Siu Mai, she snatched the menu from my mom, mumbled something incomprehensible, and walked off. Offended, I told her my mom was still looking at the menu and politely requested another one since we were a party of three. She glared at me, visibly annoyed, and when I repeated my question about the Siu Mai, she slammed the menu down and curtly said, "Pork & shrimp," before storming off.She checked on us twice to see if we were ready to order, and her attitude got worse each time. When I handed her the menu, she grabbed it as if it were a chore. Later, when I asked about the price of a dish, her dismissive response was, "I don't know," before she walked away again. To make matters worse, the bill included a 15% service charge. Rewarding this level of rudeness? Unbelievable. I'll assume it went to the BOH staff because they deserve better than to have this server representing them.If you're in the mood for Cantonese food with a side of hostility, KW Restaurant is the place for you. As for me, I'll never be back.

We decided to try out King Wah for my mom's birthday celebration. Oftentimes, we see a lot of customers waiting in front of the restaurant when we pass by. To our surprise, we were quickly seated when we arrived at the restaurant. There are stiff competition for Dum Sum supremacy in the area. You have the venerable Mayflower and Koi Palace nearby, and my favorite shumai among all them which is Golden Sand Harbor. King Wah though is almost all dim sum, whereas the other restaurants mentioned have other Chinese dishes. We ordered the standard fare: Shumai, Chicken feet, Dried Scallop Chow Mien, Salt & Pepper fish, Shrimp Dumplings, my daughter's favorite Xiao Long Bao, and a bit more. For the taste? Its absolutely good. If I can quantify it, it is about as good as the other more prominent Dum Sum restaurants around. I reckon that they have the best chicken feet around, the chow mien and scallop fried rice is very tasty and the rest were pretty strong. I would comment though that their shumai was some steps behind the other restaurants aforementioned. Abi liked the xiao long bao good because each is individually in a foil container. As far as for the wait and accessibility, King Wah is 100% much better than the rest. For a lunch at Mayflower or Koi Palace, expect to allocate at least an hour before you get to your table. I would very much go to King Wah and have our lunch immediately rather than stand for a while waiting for table on the other dim sum restaurants. Our server was nice. I do like to add the their water cups are easily tipped. It least 3 in our party had their water cups tipped and so does the table beside us. Overall, I really like King Wah for good dim sum and especially fast seating.

Decided to try this dim sum restaurant without looking at reviews. We were at the outlets and wanted lunch before shopping. We were actually thinking of eating at JB King in the food court, but they were closed! And this restaurant is right at the front door of this food court mall. It's pretty spacious and at the time we got there, there were tables available. We haven't had dim sum in ages, so it was a treat for us! Service was quick and tea pot was brought to us as soon as you tell them which tea you'd like. **OUR PICKS**BEEF CILANTRO RICE CREPES ~ we enjoyed these! The meat was spread thinly on the crepe and it was possibly minced or puréed like a paste before cooking. It gave it a soft texture with every bite. Flavor was good too! 5/5PORK SHUMAI ~ these were good as any other tea house. Juicy, flavorful and decent size dumplings. 4/5SHRIMP DUMPLINGS (Ha Gow) ~ I liked these! Big shrimp in each dumpling and tasty! 5/5CHICKEN FEET ~ always really tasty and somewhat spicy at most tea houses and these were on point! 5/5CRISPY SHRIMP CREPE ~ these were memorable! The inside had deep fried shrimp in a light batter that stayed crispy even wrapped around the rice crepe! 5/5EGG CUSTARD BUNS ~ I love custard buns and egg tarts but chose the buns because the menu showed them as cute pigs (purple, yellow, pink!) but when I got them, they were weird looking pandas. What disappointed me more was the hard black eyes, ears and noses. It throws off the softness of the bun. Best to take them off before eating! Inside was a good custard filling. But if I ever come back, I'd choose the egg tarts over the buns! 3/5COCONUT CAKE (jello) ~ perfect ending to our meal! I remember eating this years ago in tea houses and it had the same texture and taste! Very nostalgic for us! 5/5All in all, we enjoyed their food. It's a bit pricey, but nowadays, most dim sum is on the pricier end for lunch. They add a 15% service fee so tip is included. They circled this on the bill so you see this charge. Roughly $35/pp.

If you're looking for great service, it's not the place. But if you're looking for good authentic dim sum, then it is! Price is average compared to other dim sum restaurants but food does come out pretty fast. Do get their rice rolls! It's mom-approved.

We came on a Sunday. Some dishes was sold out already at noon!We were disappointed with a few dishes. We wanted the pigs custard buns but when they arrived, they looked nothing like the picture The egg tarts were small and had black dots all overThe sesame roll was not the usual cold ones but they were hot! Very different than what we used to have. They added 15% tip to the bill already for a party of 4.It was quite busy and crowded with lines out the door.

Usually our go to Dim Sum resto. They have all the options that we like. They are a bit pricey so just be aware. Service is fairly fast and during the week for lunch it's usually never a wait to get a table. Weekends are usually full of people. The place is nice and bright and lots of seating and good for large parties.
