This is such a cool boutique Farmers Market in the lovely Colusa Circle area of Kensington. We go EVERY SUNDAY for the amazing MUSIC, people/family-watching and lovely prepared food stalls as well as fresh-roasted chicken and awesome coffee/pastry stands. It's just a couple of blocks, but such a wonderful friendly vibe with great food choices!! GO!

This is my second most favorite farmers market. My most favorite farmers market is the Larkspur Farmers market which has more organic vegetables and fruit. The reason I come to this one more often is because it's closer to me in the East Bay. They don't have a lot of organic produce and the prices for all the produce is a bit high for what it is. There's a lot of different pastry booths and there's a Semi Freddy's Cafe close by. The Frog Hollow farm has great fruit and pretty good simple pastries. They also offer their fruit preserves on a discount that is much cheaper than in stores or online. Their apricot preserves is one of their best ones and has the least amount of sugar.I come here quite often to get lunch on the weekends. There's also a really nice rotisserie chicken truck that makes amazing rotisserie chicken for about $17 and they also have rotisserie duck and rotisserie pork. They have a lot of roasted vegetables that can come with their rotisserie meat but unfortunately, all their potatoes and vegetables are covered with animal grease so it is not for people watching their cholesterol. It's easy to pick up a whole rotisserie chicken for a lovely Sunday meal and have leftovers for work for a few days. It's better than any rotisserie chicken from the supermarket but will cost about twice as much. However, you get to see them roast your chicken so you know it's very fresh and the skin is crisp.

Had never been here before. Our usual bread vendor at grand lake farmers market didn't make it on Saturday so came here specifically for Basecamp bakery! I love these guys. They have the best bread and our 5 year old daughter agrees Loved the cozy small feel of this market though. It was amazing to see they had a live beehive on the honey stand and fresh seafood. Something we don't really get at grand lake farmer's market. Also some interesting food options like paella and bagels. They have a cute area on a small green grassy hill with benches and tables to sit and eat. Dope!

I specifically went to this farmers market because of Fat Daddy's bbq which did not disappoint. I got a 1/2 slab of ribs that came with the tips. Well worth 21 bucks! While waiting for my ribs I had a few minutes to pick up some fruits and veggies. Veggies were reasonably priced but I thought the fruit was a bit over priced. $3.00 for 4 small pluots, $15.00 for 2 small trays of rasberries and 1 small tray of black berries. The rasberries were pretty ripe and some were already smushy.I like farmers markets with little Knick knacks like beads, hats, jewelry, beanies, etc. you won't find much of that here but overall I would recommend this farmers market for the produce and Fat Daddy's!

The Kensington Farmers' Market is easily our favorite Farmer's Market in the area.I love that I again have a hummus supplier of the Obour hummus I love, and the honey adored the massive (and I mean massive) pulled pork "sandwich" (more like a mountain of pulled pork) from the BBQ tent at the front. There's also a couple tents with eggs, several with different veggies and fruits, a jewelry seller, a Turkish pastry seller, and a few pastry and bread tents. There's even a little seating area at the top and to the side, where you can enjoy your food and drinks before heading home. While the Kensington Farmers' Market is on the smaller end, it's mighty in it's well curated mix of sellers. When compared to the very small not well curated El Cerrito market, it's far and above, even though El Cerrito has more space to work with. All in all (especially with the amazing BBQ) we'll definitely keep coming back to the Kensington Farmers' Market!

This is my favorite farmers market in the East Bay! This farmers market is in a small alley but it's packed with produce, drinks, and food!Stands: -Roadside SF: Roasted Chicken in front of you!-Highland Specialty Coffee: High quality coffee made right outside! The people are specially nice! -Bakeries: fresh croissants, bread, pretzels! -Food stands include Indian food, bbq, and paella.-Fresh Produce: Apple Juice here is great. The produce lines always has a long wait, so come early!Prices are reasonable for such fresh produce. Parking here is easy and is all street parking. It is a little walk if you have to park far. I definitely recommend this farmer's market!

Tiny local farmer's market with a mix of everything (live entertainment, produce, flowers, baked goods, etc). Prices seemed to be on the slightly higher end than what I'm used to seeing at farmer's markets. Parking is really tough, so if you live nearby, definitely walk, but I think people generally come and go fairly quickly considering it's such a tiny farmer's market. Because everything is crammed onto one street and there is a center aisle, the walkways are super narrow so wear a mask if being that close is uncomfortable for you. You'll have to let oncoming pedestrians pass before you can move forward, but people seemed to generally walk in a one-way direction. Chill vibe and good variety of booths, but a bit too crammed for me in my opinion.

This was a small and cute farmer's market. I liked how relaxed it felt and didn't feel overwhelmed with crowds or number of stands. I got some really great fruit and chorizo to try and liked the mixture of fresh ingredients and places to eat at. I loved the Fuji apples, organic eggs and potatoes from here. Next time I'm back I would want to try out the local seafood stand that looked amazingly fresh. I had no trouble finding parking and was able to get what I wanted super quickly.

My very first time to this FM! =)I came here after church, about 11:15AM today.. nice! Though the offerings of the FM are only a block or so long, nice pick of well-rounded vendors, from local organic honey to crepes, to artisan pastry dough, to organic soaps/lotions, to wonderfully fresh greens, beets, and an organic pork (all parts, including belly!) farm fr either Sonoma or Marin.I love that Catahoula coffee makes a showing here!So close to Semifreddi's and hanging off one side of the Colusa Circle is a fun time of strolling and sampling. Fresh everything. I do like; dbl thumbs way up!Where I come from, friendly vendors never hurt!!

I really like this market. It has a lot of things that I like. The produce is good and but the coffee isn't great. It's put in a plastic carrier and gets cold. They do have some small places selling nuts and such and they are ok. And my favorite pate guy no longer goes to the markets and that blows. It's a tiny market. The bottom line is that I used to come, if I happened to be passing through on my way to Berkeley and Oakland, and I'd only do that if I was trying to avoid the freeway. So I don't go by there often, but if in the area and I realize it's open, I may stop by.
