Kelly's Deli

It was early afternoon and rainy. My hubby says, "Come with me to Home Depot. I have a surprise for you". Surprise! We went shopping for toilet fittings and other home repair items. On the way out he said, we're getting a bite to eat - here".What??I've walked by Kelly's Deli many times, but it never occurred to me to stop and get something to eat. This was a pleasant surprise. A guy took our order and the ladies inside made our burritos. They were all in a good mood. Hubs ordered a carne asada super burrito and I got a breakfast burrito.My burrito had eggs and chorizo, rice, sour cream, guac, cheese, salsa fresca, black beans. It was pretty HUGE! We sat in the car and ate in silence, with the occasional sound of foil being torn, exposing more of the burrito as the windows got a little more steamy. Hubby's carne asada was juicy and looked very tasty. He ate the whole thing while I wrapped the remaining of mine for later.Prices are on par with other taquerias and taco trucks. I can't complain. I'm happy to keep them on my radar during my next visit to HD.

Kelly's Deli is located outside Home Depot on San Pablo Ave. in Richmond. I happen to be in the area since I was looking for some new channel locks and other tools for work. It was an early Monday morning, and I wanted something to eat for breakfast after purchasing my items. I noticed this place right away (how could you not?) since it's literally right in front of Home Depot. The menu is the usual deli staples like Burgers, Hot Dogs, Sandwiches and the ubiquitous Mexican breakfast items like Burritos, Tacos, Quesadillas and Tortas. You know...the usual "deli" items. I didn't know too many Mexicans named Kelly either, so feeling like a Maverick (wink wink), I thought I'd really put my Maverick Badge to work and earn it. The prices looked reasonable as well and not too extravagant.I decided to get some Carne Asada Quesadillas ($11.00). One thing I immediately noticed that they could improve on is customer service. It was definitely as frigid as the weather lately. As soon as I received my order, I went straight to my vehicle for another fine car dining experience. Opening the container, I appreciated the quantity of food and was quite impressed on my initial reaction. However, after taking my first bite, I tasted a lot of sodium on the meat. Thinking it was just a few meats that were overly salty, my second bite hoped that it would be different, but it was just as salty or even saltier in some areas of the Quesadilla. The sour cream made it a little bit tolerable, but I didn't finish the whole thing since I could feel the sodium spike going on in my body which was warning me to stop. I did like the salsa verde that accompanied the Quesadilla though. Would I try them again? Depends...and I'm definitely not getting the Carne Asada since it was marinated with too much salt. Maybe I should stick with burgers and sandwiches from a place called Kelly's.

I was at the Home Depot with my mom and got hungry. Stopped by here and ordered the Everything Fries (posted price: $10). Strangely I did not get a receipt so I asked for one in case they called our order numbers. I was surprised to see I had been charged $12!I inquired about this and was told soup-Nazi style either I pay this price or no food for me. I chose the latter... because with this commitment to excellence who knows what's in the food!

Just got the Everything Super Fries with Carne Asada. Really good! Highly recommend you try this Home Depot-style eatery.

Quesadilla $8.95. Not very good service in San Francisco prices in Richmond outside of a Home Depot hotdogs or seven bucks completely over price and the quality of food is just not there. It does help and I mix in a bind but it's not delicious food by any means north of gourmet or Even St., Food quality

One star for the food, which was good. Lost four stars for the customer service. The lady over the counter ignored me for about 10 minutes while I was waiting for her to acknowledge me. I should have walked away and not bought anything. Apparently from her attitude, she doesn't need business.

Kelly's Deli are located at most Home Depots. pricing is at a premium.menu: hot dogs, burritos, tacos, snacks, hamburgers, philly cheesesteaks, drinks.eats: 1/4# grilled beef dog(3.95)-plump, juicy, -can load up with fixings, condiments at condiment tray.take outs:-cooked to order, prompt service-no seating available.

Wow!! Out of a shack in the home depot parking lot, i got a very tasty and big breakfast burrito, the tortilla was nice and fresh it seemed to be cooked to order and i have no complaints the red salsa had a good kick to it. I recommend the sausage breakfast burrito. I cant speak to anything else there though

Best breakfast burrito in the bay. The BEC "snacker" is legit. Super nice family that runs it.

The best burrito and tacos in the area. Consistently good every time! Especially like the breakfast burritos.
