What a gem! My partner and I really loved this mom and pop shop. The owners were really sweet and attentive to us. We got the spicy sujebi, kalguksu, and saeng sun jun (Pan-Fried Fish). The noodle dishes don't have a lot of protein, but that's a given. They're delicious, homey, carb-style soups, would be great for hangover soup in my opinion. The hand-pulled noodles and dough were great. Broth for both also hit the spot. My partner and I took turns sharing both! This place seems great for Korean dishes you'd typically find your family cook at home, rather than typical items you'd find in most restaurants - that's what makes it so homey. We've dined in once, but we're already planning on coming back again soon!

I came across this small, hole in the wall, mom and pop shop while I was searching for kalguksu in the area. The owner isn't completely fluent in english but is very sweet and always makes sure my side dishes are filled.I recently returned from a trip to korea and have been searching for a place that serves authentic knife cut and hand torn noodles and was lucky enough to find Kami. Normally, I order either their spicy kalguksu (knife cut noodles) or their kimchi sujebi (hand torn noodles). I love the texture of both their noodles and flavor of their broth. Their soups are light while still being very filling because of their large portions. Their house kimchi is also very delicious but is definitely on the spicer end. This place has become one of my regular spots to return to for warming noodles soups. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a smaller more homey feeling in a restraunt and you're craving korean food.

The food was fantastic! The stone pot rice was crispy and perfectly seasoned. The nori added even more flavor. The kimchi fried rice was cheesy and also super tasty. Both came sizzling and super hot. Service was great!

If you've ever wondered what it's like to have a Korean grandmother, stop by Kami. The dining area is small and gives a very homey feeling when you're seated. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you have questions, but the food is super authentic and fresh. Easily the most tender Tteokbokki I've ever had and the kimchi fried rice was a hit even with the folks in our party who don't normally enjoy kimchi. We also got some Kimbap for the table which was delicious and went great dipped in the leftover sauce from other dishes. I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu here at Kami.

Every one of the 6-8 tables were filled so there was a bit of a wait (10 minutes max) at noon on a Friday.Only two banchan were given - kimchi and pickled radishes. We ordered:1. Kimchi cheese fried rice with bacon ($19):- The food was fairly hot but I was expecting it to sizzle to the point of getting crispy rice after reading the reviews. I suppose it's safer if it's not that way.- It had only a hint of spiciness but was seasoned well otherwise - Not much bacon in there - mostly just rice2. Bulgogi rice plate ($23)- A lot of rice and not as much meat considering the price- Meat was unexpectedly sweetOverall the flavors were good but I genuinely feel like "okay" is an appropriate rating for this place.

Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5 (True korean street food vibe) If you've participated in Trader Joe's Kimbap trend, you must try how real authentic Korean Kimbap tastes like. Kami Korean Kitchen serves the most authentic street food style kimbap in my opinion on top of spicy rice cake that can be cooked right in front of you (DIY rice cake) Let me give you some help with how to order to enjoy food here. - Jalapeno pork belly Kimbap (Roll) - Tonkatsu Kimbap (Roll) - Cheese Kimbap (Roll) - Tuna Kimbap (Roll) - DIY Rice cake with ramen Once you are done eating rice cake, you can ask for fried rice to be cooked in it :) Highly recommend you go with your korean friend. If you don't have one, you can go watch "Somebody Feed Phil: Season 3, Seoul Episode" to understand how to eat DIY rice cake. ENJOY!

Came across this hidden gem. It's a very small place but the food is well worth it! It feels like a true mom/pop place. When entering the owners were so welcoming and friendly. I ordered beef kimbap and ramen rice cake, it was very delicious and you can tell the effort they put into making the food. I wish I posted photos but the food was so good I forgot!

Went here recently and got the katsu curry omelette over rice! It was great comfort food and good enough for two meals! The curry sauce was well made, flavorful, and not spicy! The server was super nice and helpful. She took the time to answer all of our questions and was very accommodating. No ambiance here, but it's a hole in the wall restaurant.

VERY KIND, FRIENDLY, AND QUICK SERVICE!!My favorite item is definitely the tuna kimbapI really love how friendly the lady with the shorter brown hair and the server with the longer black hair was very attentive. The spot inside is tiny but it gives such a homey vibe and i personally think that makes it all the better. Would recommend this spot to anyone.

For some reason because the plaza is hopping with so many hyped and trendy restaurants, I thought this place was a modern street food concept and hadn't tried it despite living 5 min away.Come to find out they specialize in very humble handmade nuders and hand torn dough, homey classic soups like sujebi, soybean noods, and kalguksu. The stocks are traditional and clean. The restaurant is clean and the service is welcoming. It feels homey, unassuming, no nonsense, and delivers on home style flavors. They have a case of banchan selections to buy and the street food, though yet un-sampled, is definitely classic with rich vibrant rabokki and ttukbokki, ramen soup, gim mari, jeon. A nice and low key place to chat with friends or family alike and definitely an authentic vibe that isn't trying to be fusion or up-charged. My awesome self went as a loner and felt completely comfortable. But I would like to go with a larger party to sample more of the BYO casserole dishes.
