Delicious food in cozy place! Party of four came for Friday lunch buffet at 2:40pm and they still had lots of food. I was worried it wouldn't be fresh, but it still tasted delicious. Garlic naan was included and so fresh and tasty!Ambience - 5/5Service - 5/5Quality - 4/5Value - 6/5Overall - 5/5

Amazing (and affordable) Buffet in BerkeleyMy wife and I have come here twice in the past month for a lunch buffet. Both times the food, and service was excellent. A good mix of staples, lamb curry, chicken Tikka Masala, vindaloo, saag paneer, samosa. I mean, all your favorites. They also have many deserts, including an ice cream machine. Also, it's just a cute place, no frills atmosphere. Great people watching spots all along the front, looking down on Shattuck. So if you have a lull in a conversation you can just look out at the people and start talking about what you see.The folks running the place seem very friendly and they come by often for water and to se if you need anything else.TL;DR: Great food at a great price.

I came here for the lunch buffet with friends and it was great! The paneer tikka was my favorite but they have other curries such as butter chicken and normal chicken curry. They also have ice cream and a couple of other selection for desserts! The vibe of the restaurant was also rly cute and cozy! Def recommend :)

When we walked into this place, it wasn't very crowded, but we noticed a buffet sign advertising $13.99 for all you can eat. My friend and I opted to order individual dishes instead. The food was good, but the service was a bit slow. There was only one person working the floor, and as more people started coming in, it became difficult to get simple things like the check or a to-go box because the server was handling everything alone.

Wonderful place to get dinner with some friends on a Friday night. Great service, food is delicious, and the restaurant itself is very comfortable. The big windows are a nice added touch. At the end of our meal, our server brought us all complimentary desserts. What a treat, thanks so much!

This is probably my 7th visit!! FAVVVVV Indian place. Food is always served blistering hot, and the owner is always very nice. I prefer the lamb dishes over chicken because it's seasoned so well, and the meat is super tender. Both their dessert options are amazing! If you like a variety of curry options, come during their lunch buffet. I prefer dinners over lunch though because food is prepared as you order

The food was excellent! Aloo Gobi, rice, naan and Malai kofta was exquisite! The owner greeted us warmly and provided a specular meal. It's a family owned business and I loved supporting it. Vegan and gluten free options are clearly marked. The zinfandel wine was delightful.I've found my new favorite restaurant here.

Disappointed. The recent reviews for this place are great, so I was excited to try it. The naan was dry, and the meat in the goat curry was basically all bones and cartilage. The server explained that the menu describes the lamb as "boneless," so you are expected to infer that the goat will have bones. That is not the point: it's okay for the meat to contain bones, but it's not ok that there are only a few tiny scraps of meat in the entire dish. The curry and the saag paneer tasted fine. The portions are quite small. I love Indian food, and it's usually very filling, but my friend and I left hungry (we even finished all the rice, which we usually can't ). The server, who may also have been the chef, was polite. From the reviews, it seems like this is a great restaurant when the owners are working. However, with all of the other amazing Indian restaurants in the Bay Area, I'm not sure it's worth taking the chance of dining here when the owners aren't working.
