This was recommended for us to try while in the area. No regrets; glad we tried. Hong Kong style and plenty to choose from digital iPad menu at your table. Menu was colorful with beautiful representation of the dishes. Easy to choose and wasn't disappointed with our choices. We ordered a rice plate of soy sauce duck to share. Also ordered 2 type of soup; shrimp wonton noodles and congee. Both delicious and perfect meals for getting over a cold and the cold weather. Very busy location but we were able together a seat immediately. Very clean and spacious and well lit; very inviting and pleasant experience. Wouldn't mind coming back again when in the area to try other items in the menu.

I like their soy sauce chicken and bbq pork. They sell bbq pork by per order unlike some other chinese bbq restaurants pay by pound. I usually order over the phone then order would be ready in 20min. This time I also tried their beef stew w flat rice noodles. The sauce was not as rich as I would like. Flat noodles were ok.Interior decor seems nice but I'm not very sure about the parking so I usually do take outs only.

The sour cabbage fish dish was really good and flavorful. They give a lot and I was able to take it to go to eat it another time. Their roasted duck was also one of the best I've ever had. It was super flavorful and juicy. It is a little bit pricey but not too crazy. Would definitely come again.

Came here around 7:00. They close at 8:00. We ordered the Tomato fish, clay pot rice, and a milk custard for 4 people and came out full.I highly recommend the tomato fish. It was very flavorful and brought out the sweetness of the tomato. I liked the enoki mushrooms in the dish. The clay pot rice was on the pricier end for a clay pot rice and the taste was standard. Nothing too crazy. The milk custard was good.Taking off 2 stars because the food took a long time to come out and came out incomplete. The workers forgot our white rice. They also took the teapot to refill and never brought it back. It took ages to wave down a worker to get the tea. When it came time to pay, the lady told us tip wasn't included, took the card, and brought back the bill but not the card. Luckily we caught it on the way out.

Nice interior design, just normal service as you would expected in any HK style restaurant lolThe HK styled salted chicken rice plate is decent. Will come back for to-go orders but unlikely to sit in unless they improve their ventilation system.

I heard about this restaurant from a friend who recently ate here. He said it's the best bbq pork and soy sauce chicken he's had since leaving Hong Kong. Wow, such a high praise, I'll have to check it out!It was hard to find from the GPS. Luckily, looking at other Yelp reviews, we found that it was close to JoAnn Fabrics and close by Sharetea. Thank you, fellow yelpers!Jin Gege and YaoYao Restaurant are a cooperation of restaurants. I guess I've never experienced one for Chinese food before. LOL.Apparently, they have been around for over 2 years. The service is nice and friendly. Most speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Complimentary hot tea provided. They have a digital timer countdown of making fresh soy sauce chicken every 45 minutes. Once seated, the servers provide you a tablet where you can scroll through their menu offerings and Yao Yao's. The dishes are pictured, so you can clearly see what dish is what. The offer a few dim sum dishes, Congee, bbq items, Noodle soups, entrees, etc. Once your order is placed, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your tea. The anticipation of your food coming out was exciting.Beef Chow Fun (4/5). Nice wok-hay flavor, deep soy flavor, soft noodles (not broken), crunchy beansprouts, red onions gave it more color than usual yellow. The beef was not as tender but a bit chewy.Sweet and Sour Pork - nice deep fried, crunchy pork morsels, covered in a red sweet and sour sauce which was light but grew on you with pineapple, green bellpeppers, and red onions.Combination Soy Sauce Chicken and BBQ pork. This was the main show, the reason why we came to try them out! The verdict...the bbq pork was not the usual red meat. This was brownish, slightly charred, and melted in your mouth. It's more of a balance of meat to fat. The fat keeps the meat moist. If you don't like fat, the bbq pork is not for you. The soy sauce chicken was a good mixture of dark and white meat. The white meat was juicy and tender. I felt some on the dark pieces should have come off the bone better, but otherwise, it was pretty good.We ordered the salt baked chicken rice plate also, but we're told they unfortunately ran out of it. Apparently, once they are out, they are out for the day. Overall, it was a great experience. Come check them out.

I was in town visiting, and right from the airport, my dad instead we eat at Jin Gege for lunch. Since we stopped in on a weekday afternoon, we were seated right away. I let my dad take the lead in ordering and we had: soy sauce chicken, congee, and Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce. The chicken was so tender and flavorful! The congee was a nice addition with the gentle flavors complimenting the chicken. It was such a filling meal and we even had leftovers to go!At the end of our meal, it was difficult to flag someone down for the check and to-go boxes. I understand it was a weekday and service was slow, but we did wait quite a bit with no one checking in on us. Even with our leftovers, I would say the price of the dishes are on the more expensive side, so maybe don't come if you're looking to stuff yourself. Still, overall it was a tasty meal and would look forward to coming back in!

was visiting my cousin from brooklyn and what a gift it was to find this place. we were swamped taking care of her newborn twins so cooking was out of the question for our christmas eve dinner. this place was a godsend. i knew we picked right when i walked in to pick up our to-go order and was literally the only non-chinese person there. the duck is exceptional and the soy sauce chicken is soooo juicy and yummy. the vibes are so proper. cannot recommend enough!
