The staff are super nice! This is a basic liquor store ...They have some of the cheapest liquor and domestic beers, sooo enjoy!The place has a few snacks and household section. No produce or fruit. They definitely have ice cream. Varies tho... If you want something special,..... this probably isn't the place, but if you need something now and want good customer service. ... go here!

Jax is truly a corner 'hood liquor store. aisles narrow, place is small that if one bends over to pick up a dropped coin, ur ass may bend a bottle of wine or a bag of cheetos off the shelf.parakeets are in a large cage in the corner providing in house music. microbrews in da house! (stone, sierra, bear republic wyder's cider) + gallo wines(3.99)brew: wyder's pear cider (3.29?) 4%-just a little buzz, not as strong as west coast ciders-slight pear flavor3.5 starson draught:-only wines priced, no beers priced-friendly, smiling service-high counter (sign of iffy 'hood)-assuming beer pricing reasonable as cider is.3.75 stars

Yes! I would say awesome ghetto mart.Well I really only go there for Becks and Parliaments, but they are cool, it is close and that's all you need!AND it is right out front a 40 and 62 Bus stop!Great place to pick up some 24oz's on the way to BART for a mission through Frisco!

I was tempted to give Jax Liqour 4 stars, but their friendliness makes it impossible to rate less than 5. The only reason I'd rate lower is because their selection of hard liquor is somewhat sparse, but the employees are nice and recognize regulars so you feel appreciated. Also, they'll frequently check to see that people aren't loitering right outside their door so it makes you feel more welcome to see an open doorway into their shop. Don't be intimidated if there's a bunch of dudes hanging outside their door though; those are the shop owner's friends, they're cool.
