You get what you pay for so don't expect a lot. Some of their items are good but you can tell the quality of the meat and flavor is bad on certain items. Its a nice cheap takeout once in a while.

This place must be a hit or miss. Well, I must have went on a miss day. The egg foo young was burnt which they tried to coverer with lots of gravy and mushrooms. The fried ribs were covered with so much batter and a lot of fat. The fried rice was dry, just rice with soy sauce basically. The egg rolls were the only items that were good. Didn't get a picture of the egg foo young or the ribs, before they were dumped. Will not return or recommend this place.

The place is dark and grungy looking. They charged me an extra $1.00 for Bbq pork. I ordered a small steamed rice bowl and they charged my an extra $1.00 for choosing the bbq pork as my meat. The bbq pork was dry and old looking. The cutting board looked gross. I didn't get sick but I will not go back here.

I have been going to this spot since I was a little kid. They would always recognize me when I would go with my mom. Best potstickers hands down. Also got some hot-and-sour soup. I'd like to get fried rice with the ribs with the sauce over rice. We always get couple orders of the potstickers my kids loves it. They always get Chow fun fried chicken and potstickers. I would love to explore their menu. I see they can make honey walnut prawns, and fried fish fillet. I am looking forward to try that next time.

Tried this place out after a good friend recommend it. I got BBQ Pork, Hunan Chicken, and Beef Chow Fun. The pork and chicken had good flavor. The chow fun didn't come with a lot of beef and didn't have the burnt flavor. Overall the food I got was good.The service was friendly.

I've been eating here since they opened in the mid 90's.Another San Leandro staple. This place is know for its Hunan chicken dish. It's spicy, sweet and tangy. If sweet n sour pork had a bad ass older brother, it would be human chicken. It's battered and deep fried and the mixed with the sauce and bell peppers and onions and dried chili peppers. Pair this with chicken fried rice and you have the real deal value meal.I've been getting the 3 item for decades now. Double human chicken and chicken fried rice is my go to ordersOther notable items to try: dry fried ribs, the egg rolls and potstickers, beef and broccoli and the bbq pork are all excellent.It's ready made food, that's always fresh and hot. New batches of the human chicken are constantly coming out so it is never in short supply. The price and value is great and the folks working there are friendly and pleasant.

Items I enjoy are the curry chicken, beef chow, the egg roll (gigantic and cheap) the drumstick that I'm sure is GMO, because where are these chickens with legs that big? The drumstick is crunchy and juicy. I ask for some jalapeños and onions to go with it.In my experiences they aren't too service oriented. It's kind of what can I get for you, is that it, this is hope much it cost. Fairly dry. The inside setting is bare minimum. I believe they've removed all tables at this point so it's to go only. A quick in and out.

"Quick Service, Generous Portions"I was intending to go to the Subway nextdoor, but that restaurant is out of business, so I went here instead. From the outside, it's not too impressive. From the inside, it's not too impressive; nevertheless they have a good selection. I ordered the "mini" meal. It's actually not mini" at all--it's quite large. I ordered the rice with curry chicken.I found this dish to be tasty, but nothing to write home about. I thought the portions were generous, and it was more than adequate for me.I had my order in less than one minute. About $8, which seems to me like a good deal.The name of the business actually seems to be "Jasmine Express."

Great price and hole in the wall food! The best BBQ pork chow men and they do party trays too!Wonton soup is ok but maybe I will get it with ca siu next time. Pot stickers were not bad but the spring roll wasn't as much meat as I would like. But I still like it.Hunan chicken was too sweet. Would like to try the sweet sour pork next time. Noodles are my top favorite!!
