I come here on the way home in the afternoon fairly regularly to get a six pack of beer. Lagunitas beer is competitively priced, though I do notice that depending on the person and/or the day the cost of the same six pack can fluctuate almost a dollar and I'm not sure why that is. Even at the higher end of the price range, it's still usually the same or lower than a few other convenience type stores nearby.Employees are at least polite and many times genuinely friendly.Pro tip: the Indian food next door is REALLY good and highly recommended! It looks kind of dumpy and doesn't open until 4pm but it's a hidden gem.

Buyer beware. They don't give you an itemized receipt and purposely overcharge you if they think they can get away with it. Wine listed as 15.99, bought a pack of American Spirits and a pack of zigzags....$43??!!! When I asked how much the wine was he said $22.99 I said it says $15.99 he said "not this one". So $20 for pack of cigs and papers? They are crooks. Same thing happened to my husband. I just took my purchase and left, not up for an argument after work but I'll NEVER go back and I live 2 blocks away.

I've stopped in here a couple of times now on the way to a friend's house in El Sobrante. (Don't want to show up empty handed!) I've always had friendly service at the registers, and the store has a good selection of beer, wine, and other alcohol. They don't carry dry-filtered sake though, which is one of the only things my friend can drink due to allergies, so that's a bummer.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. Convenience store with jacked up prices and the owners are arrogant and rude. I only went there because I was in a hurry and they were on the way and all I needed was a can of stewed tomatoes (which they didn't have). The owners don't even know what tomatoes are, much less canned tomatoes. They treat you like you don't know what you're asking for but they are the real idiots if they are store owners and don't even know what tomatoes are. This country has tomatoes galore. How hard is it to understand what a tomato is?

I love the customer service that you get at this liquor store my favorite friend is garlic he's a sweetheart he should own the store I like them better than the owner you go there and gives you a smile best customer service in the world he's a real great guy. There's another young man that works there he normally works mornings after Sunday he's a sweetheart from Nepal he's awesome to if you want some good customer service go there they're always eager to make you smile and make your day better than it was before you walked in their store

I don't usually write a review about corner stores. I"m writing as a buyer-beware. This place has a little grime to it, and while the shop keepers are friendly, they do not register the discounts they show on the rack. When I brought it to the cashier's attention, he said it was a different wine. I went and got the promo, he still argued with me. He finally agreed, but refused to give me the $2, and said I could pick something out. Uh... prices aren't marked so we dickered back and forth over counter items for another couple minutes, antsy baby on my hip. Poor experience!

This place overcharges people, unless your desperate and don't mind paying more than you should for items, stay clear. In my opinion, they don't have a good selection of items either.

Prices are outrageous, I come in and get a bag of chips a drink & candy priced at $16.45. They are ripping here and attitudes are rude.

Great neighborhood market! They are well-stocked with all you would want out of a convenience market, always friendly and happy to help. I love the owners-- they couldn't be nicer, honestly. I cut myself on the edge of something in the store on one occasion and they went out of their way to help me bandage my finger. It was incredibly sweet. They're great!

My favorite little convenience store to stop at! I love the owners and employees! Been going here for years and never had any problems!
