Island Market

Went in here the other day to find that there was a line of people not wearings masks and commenting on me for doing so. This business is more concerned with making money than addressing public health concerns. Don't come here.

Island Market is a wonderful little store to load up on snacks and drinks. They also sell fresh meat in their deli along with sandwiches all for a very reasonable price. This is my go to store every night when I get the munchies goin on.

Cool spot, friendly staff and wow the meat market is totally unexpected, with good selections and prices too.Learned today Sam the butcher has been in this spot for 35 years and he's really good with folks.

This market is great for cheap(Compared to other liquor stores in the area) craft beers, I was greatly surprised to see that they carry all of my favorite breweries(21st Amendment/Rogue/Ballast Point) at a reasonable price per single bottle as well by the pack. I also like that this place has a great selection of soft drinks that I can't normally find at Safeway, its not always easy to locate pineapple Fanta in 12oz bottles or orange Fanta in glass bottles made with real sugar. What I don't like about this place is the meat counter, I work in an upscale meat market in Berkeley, so when I see mislabeled meat products or inferior cuts being sold as something more valuable; I get kinda irritated. The meat isn't all bad here though, I think its great that they offer meat packages for parties, it allows everyone an opportunity to feed a large group without going broke. All in all, i'll be back, so long as they keep the high end beer flowing :)

Molded wraps and also very rude customer service, Im sure the food is molded too. Doesn't know how to treat customers! Ugly location and business front. Not a good ambiance.

I Love this store! I come here every time and they have lots of stuff. The cashier is also very nice. This store is right next to our home so that's we come here a lot.
