After watching the back nine, we grabbed some food at the cafe. Ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich. Big hefty sandwich that was tasty. Made me full which was a good sign. I loved that it came with tater tots, super crispy and yummy. The food was on the pricer side but as expected at a golf course. Will definitely grab something again here.

My family had a great lunch here! Dad got the chicken strips and although he is an extremely picky eater, he said they were the best chicken strips he's ever had so anytime we can find a place he likes is a big win! Mom got the Golf Club Sandwich which she seemed to enjoy as well. I took a few bites and thought it was good, just a solid fresh tasting club sandwich.I got the Baja Fish Tacos and a side of Garlic Fries. The fish tacos were extremely good! I was so happy they included a fresh lemon so I could squeeze fresh lemon juice all over the tacos. And the lemon juice paired with their pineapple slaw was super delicious and worked so well together. The tacos were a bit messy so once you pick one up, it's something you can't really put down. The garlic fries were pretty good. Thin cut but cooked well so they had a good crunch, although the garlic was a bit subdued.The guy who took our order at the bar was really friendly and we all enjoyed our meal which is a rarity when we go out to eat. I'd eat here again. And I recommend eating here.

Incredibly friendly staff and fresh food. Great sandwiches and legendary breakfast burrito. Presidio golf is a very special place. Check it out

This Cafe is more a favor to the Golfers than to the Diners.Very basic facility with a few tables strewn around.Order at the bar and your food is delivered to you.Nothing was great but nothing was horrible.A tad depressing I would say.Go for the Golf and pass on the Chow.

Kiddo had golf practice and we decided to check this place out for lunch while we waited for him to finish. Found the cafe via Yelp. The cafe itself looks more like a lounge. Kinda dark and, to me, did not appear very inviting. Had to double check if we were in the right place. No one really greeted us as we entered. Grabbed a table and a couple of menus - directed to place our order at the register. The menu was different than what we saw on Yelp. Was looking forward to Eggs Benedict but that wasn't on the menu. Mostly sandwiches and wraps. We ended up ordering:1) Quesabirria tacos - these had a good amount of cheese and some meat in the tacos. They arrived warm but not hot. Only a small cup of consommé which is unusual as most places give a bigger cup to actually fit the taco in when dipping. 2) Falafel wrap - kiddo said the falafel had good flavor and the wrap was full of veggies. She liked them. 3) Big Bertha breakfast burrito - this one was full of flavor. Served with a side of tater tots, and there were tater tots located within the burrito. Maybe would've liked a side of salsa just to top it. We also ordered regular coffees. They bring you to go cups and you get coffee yourself. The coffee was a bit weak for my liking. Other than taking your order at the register and delivering your food, don't expect this cafe to be a full service restaurant. Glad to have tried it but not one I would necessarily return to.

Had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The room is attractive with lots of windows, dark wood and a beautiful bar. But the food was subpar which was surprising until i looked at the reviews afterwards.I had a bowl of onion soup which was too salty, short on onion and bread, though the beef broth was fairly tasty. However the overdose of salt really killed it for me. Guess I should have reordered, but we were on a timeline!Partner ordered a hamburger, medium-well with cheese. He said it was good. The serving of fries with it was the right size for him, but I thought it was a bit skimpy.Surprised that the experience was so lacking, since the venue is quite nice.

This place is crazy convenient, and has a nice country ambience since it is next to a golf course. Drive up Arguello Street as if you are going in to the Presidio and take a quick left and you are there. Look for the tiny sign near the road in front. There is ample free parking, which in San Francisco is worth its weight in gold (or at least as much as a tip) when you are touring around trying to get the sights seen.We had just navigated two huge crowded incredible art shows at the De Young Museum when we tried the De Young Cafe, where we have eaten before. It was a wet day, and the only seating option was being packed into a plasticked sealed off area on the patio, so we took one look and headed for the hills. Or in this case, the Presido Cafe. It does have a nice view, being located on a golf course. It is open to everyone, and has a fairly diverse menu for a cafe. Another bonus is that it is not crowded, but does seem to have a group of older people who enjoy hanging out and eating and socializing there. We got seated right away, my honey opted for a burger, and I chose the interesting Wild Salmon, apple, candied pecan and cranberry salad with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. It took a minute to get the orders together, but they proved hearty and appetizing. It is kind of a bare bones place, but does have a cozy fireplace and nice green view over the golf course. It was a relaxing and fun break, and a reprieve from our hectic culture tour!

Website has the wrong menu posted. How hard is it to have that right? Ordered the $20 Club Sandwich. Trace amounts of bacon, so that was disappointing.

The staff here are amazing!! We had a big event here and all the staff were so nice and helpful. The food, drinks, and service was great. Angel in particular was the best! She helped me locate things, clean, and arrange everything properly. Would highly recommend to host an event or just eat here and don't forget to tip the amazing staff!

The website has not been updated and the restaurant is under renovation . There is a covered tent to sit in and menu is limited. If one just happens to be passing through the golf course and wants a quick bite...drinks are served in small plastic and paper cups.I recommend one waits until the renovation has been completed and there is a full menu to choose from. Fortunately the company was great and the solo host/ waiter/reception staff/telephone operator was nice. We already made plans to meet here and did not want to spend another hour traveling ,re-parking multiple cars, etc
