Huge sandwiches!! I ordered the Adam Richman and it was so big that I'm glad I split it with my boyfriend. We got it on Dutch Crunch which was soft and crunchy. The Adam Richman came with fried chicken, pesto, lettuce, ham, honey, avocado, swiss and dirty sauce. This combination went so well together! It was a little messy but it was worth it! Just grab a lot of napkins! I would definitely order this sandwich again. The cashier was very nice and patient with my family. There is a huge selection of sandwiches, from veggies to all meat. I'm glad a location finally opened in Fremont. This is a great lunch spot for delicious sandwiches with a big variety.

Short Story: This place is awesome! I've been waiting for Ike's to open in Fremont for the longest time.Long Story: I've had Ike's in several places and this one is pretty consistent. I've had several of their subs including the Matt Cain, Reuben, Pastrami, DaVinci, and We're Just Friends.The bread is pretty crisp and they are generous with the meat! The restaurant ltself is small so you may be hard pressed to find a spot to eat or stand. The service is pretty friendly and helpful. They also have a good selection of chips!Verdict: I'll go back!

So happy an Ike's sandwich shop opened up in Fremont! I love Ike's and I used to go all the time to Hayward or San Jose for these.I got sandwiches from here a few times now, and have enjoyed it each time! My favorite ones to get are the Adam Richmond, and the Menage a Trois. Both were delicious! There will be a wait if you come during lunch hour, I tried coming in person to order and it took over 25 minutes for me to get my order, even though there weren't that many people in the store. Seems like they had a lot of mobile orders that were making the queue extra long. If you can, I would recommend ordering for pick up next time to reduce the wait!

Great sandwich place to try. They have quite a few vegetarian and vegan options. There's so many options it's pretty overwhelming though. There's a few tables in there for people if they want to eat there, but it looks like people primarily just take it to go. For our boys, the sandwich options are too much for them. They'd prefer basic sandwich meat, cheese, bread type sandwiches. Cost is a little expensive so I doubt I'd come by a lot. They offer lollipops too, but some that we got were open so we ended up not eating them to be safe. Overall, the sandwiches are nice if you want a hearty sandwich with different dietary options. Staff was nice too, so I appreciate it a lot.

Our first visit here was really good and we loved the sandwiches as well... However last Saturday when we went here for lunch we were disappointed. The guy behind the counter was so rude. When we asked for the sandwich by number, he very rudely told us to order by saying the name of the sandwich, which we totally get but he could ask it nicely. Last time we did order with a number and we did get what we asked for. This time even after telling that guy the name of the sandwich he messed up our order. Since it was a to-go order we found it after coming home and couldn't get it changed. Not the service we expected from this place. Very disappointed

39154 Paseo Padre Pkwy Fremont, CA 94538Wow, Ike's Sandwiches isn't what they used to be! I'm hoping it's just this location, because I might have to drop Ike's from my "favorite places" list. This was my first time at this Fremont location. It's in the Gateway Plaza, near Raley's and down the street from Kaiser Hospital. I was there on a Friday evening around 830pm. It's a small restaurant, with maybe 4-5 tables inside and some tables outside. It has all the fun Ike's decor, a large service counter, fountain area, and a guest restroom. The 3-person crew was busy behind the counter. A young man stepped up and asked for my order.I ordered: #18 The Matt Cain, on French bread, w/ everything. Price $14.50I ordered this same sandwich at the Oakland Ikes. The sandwich I was served at Fremont was a disappointment. Very little meat compared to previous visits to Ike's in Oakland and San Leandro. The #18 Matt Cain is supposed to be a popular sandwich with salami, turkey, roast beef, cheese, and dirty sauce. My sandwich looked nothing like the poster ad. All I tasted was the cheese, sauce and peppers. You have to be kidding! With tax, over $15 for this sandwich and you put less meat? Would I return again? No thanks, no value here.

Friends, if you want a sandwich-- head to Ike's!!20 vegetarian options 14 vegan sandwich optionsSo much to try! I went with the "Sometimes I'm Vegetarian" and it was excellent-- mushrooms, pesto, provolone, artichokes -- magic combination!! Can't wait to go back and try their Vegan chicken or Vegan fried chicken! Service was friendly and the place has both indoor and outdoor seating-- though I prefer taking it to go for a picnic with a view. Casual ambience. It's in a plaza so there's plenty of parking.

I was so excited for this Ikes to finally open up! This only my second time eating it and I don't remember it being so expensive, but regular bay area prices I guess. Service is pretty quick since the line moves fast and the sandwiches are made to order. There's not much seating inside so it's easier to take it to go. And if you're going to take it to go, you might as well order online. We got the name of the girl im dating and the adam richman. Both sandwiches were tasty. I like the Dutch crunch bread, but i remember it being crispier. I also feel like there wasn't a lot of meat or maybe it was because it wasn't evenly distributed. Overall, both sandwiches were good.

Damn, I went through all 5 stages of grief while waiting in line. I came here around 4 pm on a Friday afternoon to order a sandwich for to-go. The only cashier (let's call her Mouse because she had a stuffed ratatouille on her shoulder, so cute) was taking a lady's order, which felt like 10 minutes, but I'm okay with waiting. What I wasn't okay with was an impatient man standing very close behind me, huffing and puffing about how long the wait is. Mouse asked her coworkers to take the rest of the customers' orders while she tried to get her manager on the phone. That's where it goes downhill. This rude man behind me cut me to order first, after I told him I was in line. The man who was taking the order shared eye contact with me, seeing that I'm clearly in front of the rude customer, and did not speak up when the guy went to order. Come to find out they seem to be buddies. Kick me while I'm down because after he took this guy's order, the man walked away from the cash register, leaving me standing there waiting again, until Mouse pulled over another coworker to take my order. Somehow his sandwich came out within 5 minutes, while I'm still standing in the restaurant waiting for mine, just to let me know they're both out of cucumbers AND cream cheese. Let's just hope the sandwich is good when I try it tomorrow. This ruined the image of IKE's sandwiches in my mind forever sadly, as I loved going there in my college town Davis, CA. I used to rave to everyone how good the sandwiches are and take my whole family. I don't know anymore. Shoutout to Mouse, and the guy who has a dice tattoo, they're sweethearts and their counterparts need to learn from them. Also message to the manager, get your butt in the store or answer your phone, they clearly need you.
