Love the hot sandwiches here. I've ordered the IB's original, Mushroom Steak, and the Spicy Steak - all worth a try! Another one I plan on trying is their Truffle Steak.I don't like seafood but the cashier said the Surf and Turf was good! I always experience friendly and fast service.

This is a delivery review only lets get into it ! Also I think my first review of the new year ! Happy new year everyone by the way !Okay I've been ordering from them on DoorDash for awhile now from the lakeshore location . I've never been inside so I can't comment too much on the inside overall vibe and cleanliness. But for delivery I've never been disappointed and always get what I ordered !I always get the surf and turf cheese steak add extra cheese Mayo and mushrooms and they never fail to disappoint ! It's not much to look at aesthetically lol , but lord it's everything it's supposed to be . Sometimes depending on how long the delivery takes the breed might come back a tad soggy . But as you can tell by what I order I love a sloppy cheesesteak so that's bound to happen reguardless . Meat is always cooked well never chewy . They use nice big shrimp . I also love the loaded bear fries omg ! The cheese and onions are everything the onions are always cooked all the way through no raw chunks ever . One sandwich can be filling enough for self or you can share it if you get a side . There's a few more I want to try like the prince of Berkeley and the garlic steak add some shrimp but the surf and turf my way got me in a chokehold !Hopefully I'll have another review for inside the shop but for delivery and quality I recommend giving them a try .

Was in the area and wanted a snack. Garlic fries - 2outta5 They had a funny aftertaste & hardly any garlic. A dash of salt would've gone a long way. Watermelon Lemonade 5outta5 Absolutely delicious. It was refreshing, not too sweet & damn good! I'll definitely be googling a recipe.

Pros: Friendly staffCons: Didn't get what was ordered, very greasy food, drink machine doesn't work properly.This was expensive. I've been to most of the cheesesteak shops in the Bay Area. Nearly all of them were better.I ordered a Mushroom steak with hot and sweet peppers. Got the hot peppers. No sweet peppers. As I paid extra for them this was disappointing.Additionally, the drink machine simply doesn't work properly. I tried both a Dr. Pepper and a couple of Coke drinks, the mixture of soda to syrup was way off. Tasted like soda that someone spilled a bit of syrup into. I mentioned this to the cashier, he just shrugged. A drink is part of the meal I paid for, and it wasn't actually drinkable. Not good.

IB's offers solids hoagies with your choice of beef, lamb, or chicken. We got the regular surf & turf and large garlic steak to share. Eat bite had flavorful meat paired with melted cheese.FYI the large was the size of my forearm and can probably feed 3 people. For fries they have: regular, curly, waffle, and tator totsI ordered on their website and food was ready in 15 minutes. Street parking can be difficult along Lakeshore, but there's a parking lot by Trader Joe's that usually has spots if you can't find street parking.

Ordered quite a few times from this place. The quality is great, but they always mess up my orders and there is not way to contact anyone and complain. Or someone who will make sure correct sandwiches and items were sent out with condiments.
