What's up with me and bumping into places that remind me of growing up? I used to stand next to the machine watching the noodles roll through. I'd love that they let you see your noodles being made. The owner always cracked jokes with us and let us go as close to the machine as we wanted. It's interesting how people talk about noodles and compare them to the other places...cause they all get it from one place...here!!!My mom always comes here to get her noodles. The freshest and yummiest noodles ever!

The BEST noodles I've ever had in the US. This place sells noodles to restaurants, but they're happy to sell fresh noodles by the pound to regular consumers too. Convenient location just off the 880 (at Oak & 4th), and my parents always make a stop here on their way up to Berkeley from the South Bay. Lucky for me! Yum!

I was searching for fresh noodles and been unsatisfied with the offering in Oakland so far. At least I have not found an Asian or a Chinese grocery store that carried more than one or on the outside two brands. (I bought a small batch from Yuet Hop, also very friendly people, on Webster, but have not tried it yet.) On Clement St. in SF and in China Town you can trip over Chinese grocery stores that carry several brands and a few with more than 10 different brands and different styles. In any case I went over today and there was this guy having lunch outside, probably noodle soup. I rolled by, turned around and asked him through the car window if I could buy noodles. He said yes and asked me to park right in front of the factory!Factory fresh, right from the refrigerator, noodle heaven. I bought the smallest size I could buy, 5 lbs. Maybe there were smaller sizes earlier in the day but I went there at 2 pm. He was so friendly, wanted to know how I found his outfit and was not even aware of his listing on Yelp. Go figure. He helpfully suggested I could freeze what I could not use. So I tested a small batch tonight, awesome. Nothing even comes close to fresh noodles, I'll try their Rice noodles next. I will be a regular customer...unless if I find more grocery store or of these factories selling direct to consumers. Highly recommended.

I love the noodles here. The rice noodles used for chow fun are made fresh here. They have increased the varieties over the years - Vietnamese vermicelli, wonton noodles, fat noodles and skinny noodles. All the noodles are always fresh and the prices are right. Every chance I get I stop by and stock up.
