Picked up lunch since I needed something quick & good. Ordered salt & pepper pork chops, seafood congee, beef stew macaroni noodle soup, borscht soup, and a lemon tea (total $78).Food was piping hot and ready within 15 min! I love that they have a shared lot with the businesses in that complex and parking is always plentiful. I have been here several times and while sometimes a dish may be a tad salty (but not inedible) for my taste, this can happen any time you dine out. Portions are big and their food quality is consistently good. The inside is clean and noise level is average. Service is always quick and efficient.

We ordered Wonton noodle soup and Beef Curry rice. Wonton noodle soup had great broth. Unfortinately, it went down hill from there. Wontons skin was overcooked to become quite mushy. The stuffing inside had mild flavor without the famous Hong Kong bouncy consistency. Some of the noodle was not fully separated as if it was not cooked enough...Curry Beef was clearly made where the beef was made separately then mixed with Curry source per order. Beef was tender enough but could be better.Staff was generally pleasant.Overall, very disappointed based on the 2 dishes we ordered. Will not to back again.

It's nice to have HK cafe in this area. Been here a few times. The flavors are good but every dish is overly salty. On top of that, they don't mix the salt evenly and sometimes you get a bite full of salt. We ask for less salty and less oil and sometimes the chef honors it and sometimes they don't. Service is always slow. Servers don't refill water. Always need to flag down servers but they are nice enough. Portions are small for the price. Definitely on the pricey side. But given limited options in the area we still come here once a while. Things we've ordered: black pepper chicken rice, beef chow fun, XO rice rolls, chicken wine soup, pea sprouts, tofu and bok choy, spare ribs and butter melon.

For Chinese new year, I wanted to eat something light after shopping at 99 ranch - so I went to the "cafe" after searching on Yelp. When I got here, I realized they changed their name to "restaurant" and all the food options are more like for family meal.Being that it was so late, I thought that I'll just eat something quick since I was by myself - but I saw a family order a fried fish. It looked sooooo good. So, I ordered it and ate with rice. Sure, it's like $27 but the tails and fins were so crispy that I just ate whole. The sauce with the fish was well sweet enough. Seriously, I can come in and eat this everyday, that is - if I have time because it took awhile to fry.The whole place is very Hong Kong - from everyone speaking Cantonese (families coming in hugely) to the servers coming in with well portioned hot food saying "ni tu" (kind of like "food's here")I also saw interesting recipes like ong choy with shrimp paste and horlick... but the servers said those aren't available that night. I'll definitely come back to see how they make these. So exciting.Lastly, I ordered hot and sour soup to go. The portion is not that big compared to other restaurants. But, I'm excited to eat at home during new year. Slurp slurpsThis place is great for family outings

I've been to this Hong Kong Cafe twice now, and it's a good Chinese restaurant in the Dublin area. I would give it 3.5 stars, but I won't be coming here frequently though, so I will round down to 3-stars. The prices are high for a Chinese restaurant, which is common for this area, and their food to be okay. When my friends & I came here on a Saturday night, our bill for 4 adults came out to be over $110 after tax & tip. I felt that prices at other Chinese restaurants to be more affordable, & the flavors of the dishes in Chinatown Oakland & SF to be better, including the Hong Kong cafes in the South Bay areas too.As for the size of the restaurant, they were pretty big, so we were seated right away for a Saturday night. The service wasn't that great since we had to wait a while before they took our order, even though the restaurant wasn't full. Also when our tea pot was empty and we had it open to indicate that it needed to be refilled, no server ever came to refill it on their own, so I had to flag a server down to let them know that it was empty. Overall they are a 3+ star restaurant. The parking had a private lot at the plaza, so parking is easy; and the portions of the food were decent sizes. I just wish the service was more attentive, the food was better, and the prices weren't as high. It's nice to have a Hong Kong Cafe in the Dublin area, but you will be paying the higher prices to dine here.

Came here on a Sunday around 4pm! This is really the only restaurant that opens at that hour besides fast food! Most restaurants have breaks between lunch and dinner. I usually have late lunch so this is my go-to place! This time I tried the beef brisket flat rice noodles and fujian fried rice! They came out so quick like 5 mins! They were nice and hot! The fried rice was huge and flavorful! Beef brisket rice noodle had a hint of spiciness and i think it's from the ginger. Both were good and i would order again! They also have a nice Christmas up and the waitress had Christmas head bands! Very festive!

The mushrooms pan fried noodles are very good. The wet noodles can be less salty.Beef Chow Fun was great, wishes slightly larger portions in every plate.Milk Tea was authentic.Ambiance is very roomy, spacious and not noisy. Clean and nicely renovated.Salt and peppers wings and ribs were both very yummy. Fried just the right amount of batter and thickness.Service was quick, even during a busy Friday lunch time.Parking is ample especially if you are willing to walk a few mins.It would be awesome if they run some kind of weekday lunch special or afternoon tea sets or menu.

Food here is not too bad but also nothing amazed me too much as well. The restaurant's modern and sleek look maybe made me expect more from the food. I would say that only one staff member was kind and attentive but we didn't really get that service from anyone else helping -- probably from coming during brunch time on a Sunday. I am a bit disappointed that I found steel wool when I bit into my shrimp from the honey walnut prawns :( the helpful staff member sincerely apologized, replaced the dish, and offered to cancel the item.

They have a LOT of menues, all things hong kong.. too many to choose from! Also for the price the food is pretty goodI had braised beef with dry noodles, which came with bokchoys. The noodles itself was very spring-ly and bouncy but very thin so it felt like eating snacks. Braised beef was just good - not too oily or seasoned. This is my 2nd time here. The service is quick and nice. Place is reasonably clean.

I have been looking for a Chinese/cantonese/HK style restaurant in the TriValley. I came across this restaurant on Yelp and knew I had to try it out. This is located in a small complex that's shared with Dominos. If you're not familiar with this area, I feel like this can be easily missed. I go to this section of town quite often and I feel like businesses tucked in this corner can easily be missed. When we arrived, we were seated but I felt service is lacking (which is not surprisingly for a Chinese restaurant). We were able to order our dishes but any follow up service was non-existent. If I needed utensil or water, I felt like I had to help myself. As for the food, I do love it has the Hong Kong style dishes. We go the seafood bake spaghetti, the fujian fried rice and clay pot dish. The dishes taste exactly how I would expect and they were enjoyable. As for the portion size, it's okay - it's not particularly small or large either. The price is point is comparable to prices in this area - so definitely not a steal but also not a rip-off.
