Our new WTF Coffee!
Guatemalan Fair Trade Organic. A famously delicious French roast Fair Trade Organic coffee.
Our signature blend for espresso, famous for its fabulous crema.

"M.O.O." - Medium-dark Organic Original - for those who like a lighter roast and robust flavor.
Half "Holy Cow Blend" French roast and half "Holy Cow Decaf" Half the caffeine, all the flavor!
Four Seasons Blend - a Viennese roast with a bold flavor good all four seasons of the year.
Louis la Vache
"Holy Cow" Decaf - a water-process French roast decaf. It doesn't taste like decaf!

Holy Cow Coffee had thermos of coffee for individual purchase. unfortunately, the regular was out. only decaf was available. about a dozen bags of coffee bean blends were on display and available for purchase.the owner, paul, will literally back up his truck someday and bring brewing equipment, water, and enough coffee to last a shift at the farmer's market.locale: orinda farmers market (3/3)pour: decaf coffee(2)-smooth brew from aribica beans (usually harsh), this one not. also not much body nor character.3ish starscoffee drips:-this review is based on a derivative future anticipation of good/great tasting coffee-past tastings are no guarantee of future satisfaction.-recent yelp ipo exurberance had no bearing on this review.-paul was smooth and cool.

I was able to taste and have a cup of coffee of Holy Cow Coffee Company at the El Cerrito Farmers Market on Saturday. I tried their signature coffee, the French Blend. I don't remember the name unfortunately. It had a very good roasted taste and light to the finish. I would have walked passed this booth, but the Emeryville address on the van, got my attention. I like supporting local businesses. What also intrigued me was that they have a vast amount of teas. More than their coffee selection. I will have to come back again to try the teas.

The Holy Cow truck has been serving at my office park for just a couple weeks. It's been great most times, but today was AWFUL! The girl admitted it was her second day, and she didn't know how to make any of the drinks on the menu. After 15 minutes of waiting (I was the only person out there), I finally got my lukewarm $4 latte...and it was completely disgusting so I threw it away. :(I will totally revise this rating if they bring in better employees, but this was pretty bad.

I had a cup of the flavored latte from the truck since they started coming around the Doyle St. Park in Emeryville. It was pretty tasty, but I definitely want to try one of their signature coffees next time.

I will start this off by saying I am picky about my coffee. I have seen holy cow a few other times at the farmers market, but hadn't stopped as I tend to show up about closing time. This Sunday I was there ~noon instead of 1:00 and decided to swing by Holy Cow on the way out. There was an older gentleman out front who greeted me as I walked up. He said he would be with me in a minute as he was helping another customer. Sure enough, when he finished with the other lady he took my order for a small cappuccino. Nicely, he asked what kind of milk I wanted because I didn't specify and he seemed very friendly over all.I did have to wait since there was another order in front of me for another stand. This does not bother me because if a barista is making individual cups it will take a bit to serve each person. While I was waiting I looked at their shop. There was a number of bagged coffee available at $12 AND $14 (Decaf, Organic and Fair Trade). I think there may have been a $10 but I don't remember, but if you buy two they give you a discount. What surprised me is how many teas they had. I have a ton of tea at home and I was not about to buy more, but the selection seemed decent for pre-bagged.A few minutes later I had my cappuccino in a to-go cup. Based on the taste the cappucino was good although not amazing, much better than going to Starbucks and getting burnt coffee. To top it off they give you a loyalty card so that after a number of drinks (10?) you get a free drink.

Saw the coffee truck parked outside my building and I had to try it out. They are locally owned like everyone on here has said and I have to say the coffee is really good. Fragrant and light to the taste. I got the "Frog Fuel" and a coworker of mine got a mocha which also tasted pretty good. Perfect afternoon treat and to give me the kick I need for the rest of the day.

If you are looking for amazing local coffee, please do yourself a favor and find Holy Cow Coffee at your local farmer's market. Paul is incredibly kind and knowledgeable about his coffee. I've yet to be disappointed by any of his recommendations. He even has samples of lots of the coffees he carries at the market. There is also a huge selection of teas as well which I'm planning on trying soon. Paul was so kind and went out of his way to order the coffee I liked when he didn't have it one day at the market. I went today and he held it in his truck just for me. Very rarely can you find someone with that kind of customer service AND an incredible product. If I could give more stars, I would. Go find yourself some of this coffee! You will not be disappointed.
