Herbs and Spices Catering

I contacted Wendy for a meal for 12 which we held socially distanced to celebrate an important family event. Wendy was a delight to work with, the meal was delivered punctually and well packaged, and my guests all loved the delicious meal that Herbs & Spices prepared for us. Wendy managed some unusual food allergies and preferences, worked with me to finalize a diverse and delicious meal, and was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely contact them again in the future.We loved everything she made, especially the mango salmon, the fig crostini, and the Thai endive appetizers.

Herbs and Spices were a joy to work with. From the time I put in our initial proposal request, reviewing the menu, increasing the guest count, all of it as a breeze!The food was so delicious, we had a catered lunch for over 100 people at our office and everyone from clients to staff said it was the best food we ever had brought it. The stuffing was very flavorful, the turkey moist, the mashed potatoes creamy and delicious. We highly recommend Wendy, Roxanna and the rest of their fabulous team for your next catering event. You will not be disappointed.

Overall the food, presentation, and communication was fine (thus the 2 stars). The conundrum I had was with them not honoring the slim time frame they agreed to before I even booked their services. In short, they were about a hour late causing a close family member to miss 3/4 of their relatives services. When I relayed this occurrence to the owner, I got a seemingly empty and non rectifying response of, "I am very sorry she was late. I had not heard that. Thank you for letting me know. I will talk to her to see what happened. I am glad everything else was good." If time is a issue, I would not recommend.

Herbs and Spices recently catered two office events for my company. Wendy was a pleasure to coordinate with. We requested individually packaged appetizer plates due to Covid. The plates were delicious and beautifully presented. At both events, Roxeanne was our bartender. She was very personable and did a fantastic job. I would not hesitate to use their services again and can confidently recommend Herbs and Spices to others.

Wendy and her staffed catered our small, outdoor wedding last Sunday and it was fantastic. She and her staff were gracious and professional, and the food was delicious. She also dealt admirably with a situation where the oven in our venue wasn't working, and she quickly found a community center five blocks away where they could heat up the food instead. My husband and I would highly recommend Herbs and Spices to anyone planning a wedding in the Bay area, big or small.

Wendy and her staff were SUPERB. I had a catering order for a mid to large corporate event and I couldn't believe how much people were raving about the food! Presentation was great, food was great, and Wendy was so easy to work with...like a step ahead of me every step of the way. Try the quinoa salad!I highly recommend this place for your next event.

First, Roxanne is a ROCKSTAR. She was the lead staff member present for our event and was professional, efficient, and great to have as support. The food was delicious! Everyone commented on how good things were especially the shrimp, peach & prosciutto w/goat cheese, stuffed mushrooms, and the spring rolls. Overall it was a pleasure working with Wendy and Herbs & Spices. She was very communicative and timely plus very accommodating to our needs for the event. Her recommendations were on point! We would definitely work with this company again for catering.

Doing business with Roxanne is a complete disaster. It's incredible to watch someone you expect to act like a professional adult run and hide into a back room when there are obvious issues that need to be discussed. I've never worked with someone so immature and childish in my life. You know, she knows, that it's unacceptable behavior, when you're communicated with like you're talking to a manipulative teenager. She's very forgetful at the most precise moments, so interesting. If you're looking for integrity, steer clear of Herbs and Spices. If you're looking for childish, ridiculous behavior, ask for Roxanne.

Wow! Delicious food perfectly prepared. Wendy and company catered our son's wedding this past weekend (150 guests) and everything was perfect. Delicious and healthy food and presented in a beautiful fashion. They kept the buffet well stocked, had plenty of everything and for any request, large or small, they swiftly took action. No need to ask twice. I especially liked the salmon, the huge selection of nice-looking vege's, and especially the sauces. Oh the sauces - that's literally their secret sauce. And they were such a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend them for any special event you may be considering!!!

Great food. My daughter ordered the shrimp and loved it. My son got the kids meal (which he is normally opposed to) and it was more than enough food. It was a delicious alternative to cooking or ordering out. Would definitely recommend!
