Harbison Event Center

I now know why there are hardly any stores out there anymore if the pricing of the Event Center at all reflects what merchants are being asked to pay. I do realize that it can be pricey when obtaining a facility, as this was not the only place that I had inquired with. But they were far more expensive than any other venue in Vacaville. And what struck me as odd, was that I was told they didn't even have enough chairs for the 225 people attending the event. Now think about this, you are going to charge me $5000 for full rental of your facility and then tell me that I would have to secure more chairs at cost to me. Or you would be willing to get them for me for at a 20% markup! Am I crazy, or does these just seem to be different? Lucky for me she was willing to bypass "nickel and dimeing" for the cost of tables, which are also were not included, but if I was some Bride who was in her office 6 times a day, she would be fine charging me. True conversation! Then the manager actually reprimanded three of her employees right in front of me. She actually stopped talking to me, to scold them! Thanks but no thanks.

We have our home show event at this location for years prior. We are returning and love the layout. Cute park.
