I wanted good Chinese on NYE and this place was recommended. It could not have been a better recommendation. All the dishes we ordered reminded me of the best time I had them. We had combination Lo Mein that brought me back to childhood. We had sweet and sour pork that reminded me of the first time I had tasted it and wanted it to taste like that ever since. We also had chicken and broccoli (a knockout) and combination fried rice with their award winning egg rolls. Amazing. Highly, highly recommend

Very unwelcoming vibe when you enter, blocked off from dining room... maybe they should have a sign saying take out only & do not enter into the dining room??Anyway I wanted to use my rodeo rewards there, but he was hesitant, not sure if he remembered how & grumbling that it's a lot of work & time to enter the # manually, but finally completed the transaction.I had ordered the tofu/veg/mushroom lunch special, soup not included w/ to go & choices were fried or steamed rice plus it cones w/ an eggroll - unfortunately that contained meat & the fried rice contained egg... The stir fried dish was very tasty & a generous amount for lunch !!Maybe he was just having a bad day but he just seemed annoyed & impatient... I was trying not to be the cause !!! & He definitely prefers all customers to stay away, by the doorway, & not enter the former dining room... there is no sign saying take out only & do not enter dining room but there should be‼

My first 4 star review needed an upgrade. This last visit, the Chow Mein was excellent, the Szechuan Chicken was great as usual and the portion consistent. Another plus is that they do not charge extra for Fried Rice or Chow Mein with their Lunch Special as other restaurants typically do.

On Saturday, we drove from Antioch to order our favorite Chinese food, only to find it closed. The operating hours are posted as 11 am - 7 pm. We were there a little after 3 pm. So disappointed!!

We're trying to find good lunch specials around the area and this place popped up. They still don't allow interior dining which was a bummer to find out when we got there. The lady is super cute and friendly. The prices are cheaper than Dragon Terrace, but the food is not as good and you don't get a soup. It did come with a veggie egg roll which quickly got soggy.We both got a fried rice combo and we were surprised that the "fried rice" was simply white rice with scrambled egg mixed in. Disappointed. Other than that, the food was decent, a little greasier then most. Probably wouldn't come here again. Dragon Terrace is my go-to for an affordable lunch special with lots of more options.

2nd visit, the chicken chow mein was a bit greasy, I asked for extra onion that I did not get, disappointed they don't use bean sprouts. The shrimp fried rice was good but they don't use peas or carrots..The first time I went the fried rice was very good..They give you a lot of food.

This is my favorite Asian spot. I've had everything on the menu. Never had a complaint, never a bad dish. The owner and family are very nice, very friendly and for over 5 years, they have suggested many tasty meals. The interior is decorated traditionally well. Though I wish it were open to sit and dine in occasionally. Big time recommendation!

Got the beef and broccoli lunch special. The broccoli was uncooked, and the fried rice as a side. The rice was basically steamed rice with a small portion of egg in it. Flavorless and VERY disappointing

I've been coming here for over 18 years, a little more than half my life, and I have always enjoyed their food. It's a local mom and pop restaurant that serves wonderful food to go and one of my favorite items to grab are the drums of heaven. I'd highly recommend checking this place out if you're passing by Rodeo and want good Chinese food!

This is a childhood favorite of mine and i haven't eaten here in years and was afraid it changed. it did change, it got better?? it's so good this is literally my first positive yelp review lol, ordering was easy and the customer service is always nice but not too over the top, i ordered that salt and pepper shrimp, chicken fried rice, and the hot braised chicken, if you want a 10/10 meal order that. also family owned!
