Hal's Original Ny Hot Dog Cart Catering

Caught this spot coming out of The Nutcracker at the Paramount yesterday. It was tasty and delicious, and my son is still talking about it. We should have bought an extra! The grilled veggies were the icing on the cake! Wish they would come to Southern Alameda County! Hayward, Union City, and Fremont need you!

That was a good dog! The building I work at hosted a summer social today catered by Hal's. I don't usually eat hot dogs (unless I'm at a sporting event) but today I couldn't resist the aromas coming off the grill. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the conversation. And the polish dog was grilled to perfection and one of the tastiest dog's I've ever had. So glad I didn't miss out!

Hal's was staffed by 2 teenagers. all dogs on the grill looked the same.Menu: ny "foot long" dog (4) bratwurst(6) hot link (5) chili dog(5) tofu/turkey dog (4)Locale: Oaktoberfest ....2010line: nonesampling: bratwurst (6)-about a dozen dogs being grilled, all looked the same.-bread given out of plastic bag, not steamed nor toasted.-dog wasn't that juicy, maybe not grilled long enough.foodnotes:-condiments section not kept up, many items low-saag dogs used, orowheat buns used. -definitely no repeat.

Hal is so kind and makes the best hot dogs!! He was outside of The Port bar. It was raining, but he came prepared with a tent. Hal accommodated for all my friends, like my friend who is on a keto diet. Also, I requested for more onions and he cut up a fresh one for me! I highly recommend!!

We hired Hal for a party at our home! He brought tofu dog, bratwurst, and polish. Everything was delicious! Everyone kept coming back for more because they were so good!Hal was very professional and punctual.

Just had Hal's team tonight for an event in San Ramon. He was terrific, his staff was lovely, and the dogs were a huge hit with all the trimmings. I would definitely use again. It was a family event with about 600 people and the feedback was great. Thank you Hal for helping make it a great day!

It was conveniently located outside of the Uptown Bar after a typical night of intense drinking exercises. Hal was nice, food was good, and considering that it was just a cart, there was a good selection of food.

Came here late one night on a Friday after touring all the usual bars of Oakland and I arrived to this hot dog stand. I wasn't expecting much except for some good drunk food. However, the hotdogs here were fantastic. Pretty surprising how close they were to New York hot dogs, but a lot cleaner with better service haha! The guy was real nice, hooked us up for a great price. Probably one of the best hot dogs I've bought in California.
